I play osu a lot, and do a lot of double tapping on the same two buttons. Ive been interested in testing a pair of push buttons but I don't really know where to start aside from some standard purpose stuff on digikey and mouser, any suggestions?

Do you mean like arcade cabinet push buttons? Check out these websites, they stock arcade pushbuttons for arcade machines and fighting game joysticks. Sanwa and Seimitsu have the best quality.

FocusAttack.com also stocks Seimitsu, but they are closed until Saturday for maintenance.
I have Sanwa buttons in my fight stick. They are very sensitive but work great once you get used to them.

I prefer Seimitsu buttons myself. A little more tactile and not as convex on the top, but I think Sanwa have a little bit better build quality overall, with their sticks as well. Also I guess for rhythm games like osu it probably makes sense to go for the lighter Sanwa.

I will check these out, Am currently trying a pair of MX Reds that I mounted into my keyboard and they are a big improvement.
I play a bit of Osu sometimes, so I think the best setup would be low actuation force, and low travel. Thanks for the info guys.
