This place goes dark all the time, the upside is less garbage-tier bloviating. I think part of it is not having your post count next to your name.

Yup its the good old time zone. What you need to do in a situation like that is take one of your clicky keyboards and make some noise!

Perhaps. But we're all just living on a ball, my friends.
When I was in California, DT's pulse felt different too. Everyone was so hyperactive in the morning, and dozy in the evening. For whatever reason, we're just a Europe-heavy forum. Most of us are within a couple of hours of eachother, time-wise.
