My Avatar is the character "RC-1140" "Fixer" from the Republic Commando Series from Star Wars. Fine videogame, and a very good book series!

I'm sure someone once called him a charming gentleman, but I can't find that post on GH now. Anyway, that's true, the frame is from the film 2046... at that point his friend is out of town and he's called on his friend's girlfriend, using all his charm on her

Anyway, the character is called Ping, and the actor's name is Ping Lam Siu. Ping lambs you! being a snark against those who picked a side (either side) in the ping debacle without caring who was right.

But also, I just like the guy, and the film.

Every time I think it might be time for a new avatar I look at mine, laugh heartily, and leave it be.
