Favorite keyboard? Pfftcht, how about favorite font?

Sure, we all love to type, but what about the end result on-screen?

Mine is Bitstream Vera Sans Mono for coding. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitstream_Vera)
It's the easiest on the eyes for me when working in a terminal, and is really easy to read.

As for serif typefaces, I like Garamond. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garamond)
It's very elegant, and comes with Photoshop last I checked which is neat ;o

I'm quite partial to Comic Sans

But seriously, I think I like the Segoe variant used for Windows Phone 7.

On Windows I like Lucida Grande, Verdana and Profont. On OS X I like Lucida Grande, Menlo and Courier / Courier New.

For my shell operations i'm kinda like the terminus-font. Very eye-friendly . For my text-processing i have no special favorite but i like the DejaVu fonts too, because it's open source and it's in the default installation of many distributions.

Bitstream Vera/DejaVu are the best fonts for coding. A good coding/console font should be quite narrow. Courier and Lucida Console can just go and die.
Before Vera I prefered fixed-semicondensed-12, that used to be the default under X. Not a scalable font, though.

Helvetica on my iPad.

I am hoping everyone on KBDthority buys one.

The Helvetica Mod here.

The trick with fonts is to match them to the subject at hand.

I like Futura, and I think it looks great on Filcos. Too bad I use blank key caps.

And since everyone is listing their favorite terminal and coding fonts, I like courier new 10-point. :)

The Filco's Futura keys are the nicest available, aesthetically speaking. Helvetica looks good on the Model M, but it looks too old-school on modern keyboards. Futura fits much better.

I've been writing a lot of documents in the last 18 months and I've been using Liberation Serif, just because it's not Times New Roman.

This is all nice and all but the real challenge is identifying the Noppoo font.

No cheating. Must use pics.

Anyway, my favorite coding/terminal font is inconsolata. I don't really have any other favorite font.
