Merry Christmas!

Let's just pretend I signed this card and it says Deskthority rather than Digital Media 3. I made this and printed it out for the Digital Media teacher at school, intentionally done horribly.

Merry Christ Santamas. May you tremble in awe at the sight of the infant god, or whatever it is we're meant to do nowadays. It all comes down to gifts and feasting, right?

Next week's the big one where I'm from. Where we must all drink ourselves out our minds, or lose the Earth to Wotan!

Santa? Isn't he that overweight unshaven German guy who does illegal house-breaking and trespassing to litter your house with flamboyantly-packaged items (without first declaring their taxable value) all the while dressed in a ridiculous red jumpsuit? I've heard that he enters your house whether you want him to or not, by whatever means possible - even through your god-damned chimney when there's a roaring fire going!

That's just insane. I wonder why "Homeland Security" hasn't been able to stop this guy. (or at least stop some of his 5 billion packages from getting through)

I tell you a secret. Santa Claus does not exist...

Yes, I realised that when I was 5 years old - when I noticed that the "From Santa" on the gift was in my mother's handwriting. I worked it out for myself without anybody telling me. After that, I learned to never trust adults.

My folks never bothered with the illusion. So I had to learn about distrust in some other epiphany of adult duplicity. I don't remember which. It's not like they're in short supply!

Christmas for me is... "I have a machine gun now... ho-ho-ho"
and if you don't get the citation you can't be my friend :P

It's become a bit of a tradition for me too to watch that movie this time of year :)

Oh how tragic... I can't be your friend. ;) I had to look that reference up. I never liked those Die Hard movies.

For me, Christmas involved the Grinch (animated, not that awful Jim Carrey thing) and the stop-motion Rudolph.

This is quite Christmassy to me (though not exactly what I saw in the 70's :D ):
And what is Christmas without a Terminator?
