I've been in contact with Teraset by e-mail, they've been very responsive and helpful.

He's occasionally on IRC. Definitely has been on since June. If I see him on, I'll poke him.

Lol...will sort this out after work. I've resorted to banning ranges of IPs belonging to a particular ISP in Pakistan which is slowly reducing the frequency I guess...

The danger for collateral damage (real users getting needlessly blocked membership) is fairly low but nonzero. While the upside doesn't seem to be much. The IPs I've seen for our spammer are all over Pakistan.

I keep somewhat regular contact with DerpyDash_xAD. Infact I was messaging him not long ago, Ill go ahead and tell him to send you a PM.
