Voters have a chance at winning a Leopold FC980C Topre and 60% keyboard sleeve from mykeyboard.eu!

Winner:
The official nominees in the Best keycaps category were:

  • GMK 9009 R2
  • GMK >Terminal_
  • EnjoyPBT Cherry Profile PBT Dyesubs
  • GMK Honeywell
  • GMK Oblivion

The Wingnut, as voted for by the keyboard community, goes to...
Spoiler:
GMK Honeywell
Micro Switch, a division of Honeywell, has some of the most iconic keyboards of all time. The Symbolics "Space-Cadet" keyboard is immediately recognizable, but the Honeywell Terminal Keyboard with its Red/Grey/Black/White colorway is just as visually striking.

The colors of the Honeywell Terminal Keyboard are so simple and classic that they deserve to join the ranks of classic sets.
Runners-up:
Spoiler:
2nd place: GMK Oblivion
GMK Oblivion by Oblotzky is a custom MX compatible keycap set, inspired by programming! It is designed after the code coloring scheme of the same name created by Paolo Borelli. Made of doubleshot ABS plastic, and made in Germany by GMK with the original Cherry tooling.

GMK Oblivion has different posibilities. You can, for example, switch out the alphas to make your own version of the classic IDE theme, and make it mono or colored.

3rd place: GMK 9009 R2
Taken from the classic Cherry G80-9009, this keyset has been transformed and expanded to be used with modern keyboard layouts. Made from single shot PBT plastic, with legends that are dye-subliminated, these keycaps will not accumulate shine as quickly as ABS keycaps. The legends are dye-subliminated, and will never wear off.

Bringing back a Classic.
Honorable mentions:
Spoiler:
GMK >Terminal_
The >Terminal_ keyset was conceived in-house by The Key Company to be a classy, simple colorway, influenced by the Green Screen monochrome monitors from our past, with accenting familiar to many, especially those keyboard warriors who code. Even if you don’t code, the novelties were designed to complement the universal tech-inspired theme.

Image
GMK >Terminal_ supports many layouts without a thousand caps, the beauty of this was, as Bob Ross would say, a happy accident.

EnjoyPBT Cherry Profile PBT Dyesubs
EnjoyPBT have been releasing some awesome PBT dyesub keycap sets for Cherry MX keyboards, in various configurations. The quality is really great. Not many enthousiasts were able to resist these purdy keycap sets, and are now enjoying the PBT a lot, thank you very much.

Image
EnjoyPBT Cherry Profile PBT Dyesubs, whether it's their cyan/magenta Hangul legends, or their black/red Cyrillic legends, these keycaps are super popular and very classy looking.

Wow! This is an honor! Sherry definitely was the one that really made the little details that made Honeywell the great set it became!

Yeah, the minimalist theme really sells it as such a classy keycap set. And the keyboard itself is so beautiful :)))

What an ABSolute victory for GMK's doubleshots. Good for them for embracing the community as they have lately!

I got to spend a lot of time with Christoph here a few weeks ago and can definitely attest to how much he is genuinely interested in the community and investing in the community. It is really refreshing to work with a company that thinks that way.

The least original keyset won.

The winner should dedicate the prize to Muirium, who chose the color-scheme for Round 5.

A fair win to a loverly keycap set, i prefer GMK 9009 R2 but thats beacuse i am a sucker for the soft pastel colours, and ofc they are PBT and that gives them extra points :).

I would however be happy to have ether.
