Hello,
a forum member asked me to disassemble and take pictures of my Olivetti WS 685 terminal keyboard.
The keyboard is brand new, salvaged from a recycling center.
Switches are Cherry MX blacks, caps are DS and it is internally marked as Cherry G80 series. I have no more information about it ; I would appreciate any more info You can append to this post in order to try to rebuild a little history of this keyboard.
Cheers

Great to see you here, a friend showed me your video. It's amazing to see another Olivetti keyboard model made by Cherry; I don't think we've ever seen this one before.

This KBD is damn toxic, the layout of this WS685 is kinda like French or Belgian layout, but it's QZERTY, which is different from FR or BE, also the symbols are different too, I'm very curious about this layout.
Can someone tell me what is this layout called? plz plz plz

It's Italian, just an older layout that isn't found as often anymore. Have a look at old Italian keyboards and you'll see plenty of QZERTY, though.weebxg wrote: ↑06 Sep 2022, 06:10This KBD is damn toxic, the layout of this WS685 is kinda like French or Belgian layout, but it's QZERTY, which is different from FR or BE, also the symbols are different too, I'm very curious about this layout.
