Where to buy individual Cherry MX switches?

Hi everyone, I just received a custom PCB I designed for my portable keyboard project.
Now it's time to buy some switches, but wasn't sure eBay is the right way to go? I see individual keys for ~$4 USD, and thought it was steep. I am in Canada. Thanks!

What exact switches are you looking for?

Yes, it's steep ... try here, Cherry MX about US $49 for 100-pack and $54 for 110-pack: http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/ind ... _list&c=43

Genuine Cherry MX (pcb mounted) of any kinds.. whatever is the cheapest really.

Great, thanks for the link. Has free shipping for July 1st. This might be worth travelling to the border.

Zeal is OK, last I heard he was away on business, not sure if he is back or not.

You can also buy from here but not sure how quick they would arrive 7bit is a bit busy with R5 shipping.

7bit will get them to you in six months. Maybe. Or at least an excuse. But he surely can't be beat for variety. I've bought switches from him before, he's a great fella, just don't trust his ETAs! Especially when he's distracted by something the scale of Round 5 right now.

Dont get too bogged down, I had my switches in 4 weeks and I am in the US. Really varies (My order was about 2 months ago) but worth a shot. Cheapest prices out there

My experience is that if you are ordering what is in stock then it will come within few weeks.
You can set your address and email and send WASSUP message to his bot to see what is in stock.

Fair enough. Sometimes he's quick. But definitely check his stock first. Some things that are out of stock have been so for years. MXLOCK especially.

Yeah, I'm ordering only the stuff in stock.

Though I could join some multiple month (maybe even years) group buy if there would be keycaps suitable for Katy keyboard. Some DSA keycaps with legends. Or almost any keycap shape which would be the same for each row; e.g. all keycaps only DCS row2. And this includes keycaps like Tab, CapsLock, Space, Enter, BackSpace and all the modifiers too. All the same shape 1u keys. I do not care about PBT or double shots.

But I can do OK without legends so I'm not in a terrible need. The result is my orders are rather boring like 80 x DCS row2 without legends :-D
