Probably Cherry keyboards, as they are PCB mounted and are thus easy to pop open if you have a tool fit for the job. Reds are hard to find on a Cherry keyboard though.

If you do Cherry donor boards there's several G80s with blacks and browns. Just take a brown spring and a black stem and you've got a red switch.

For what it seems cactux is doing, I would just buy new switches. If you need 3 sets, desoldering from donor 'boards would be tedious to say the least. That, and I assume he is getting new switches (vs. used ones in donor 'boards).

I got some nifty ones from Singapore and Squarebox. Not sure if he has Cherry MX Clear.
FOR SCIENCE!

Somebody actually asked me what each switch weighs.
