I'm looking for someone with a M0110 that would do take some orthographic pictures for me with a ruler or something else for scale. I cant seem to find any good pic of one. they all are at odd angles and none of the sides... I'm working on a project and I'm trying to keep from buying one just to scan or take pic's of...

Just a stray thought:
If you don't have enough discretionary funds to buy a banana themed M0110, you should tread carefully in the realm of projects. Especially if you plan to sell a product eventually.

One of my other hobbies is building replicas of movie props. I have spent many hours ogling at photos of objects, sometimes even with rulers in the picture or one or a few known reference dimensions.
Getting the dimensions, shapes and angles that way is hard. Different people that have attempted to replicate the same object always create replicas that are slightly different to one-another even if they had been using the same high-resolution photos to start with.
Orthographic pictures are not possible with a camera lens, and even a flatbed scanner has some perspective projection. You would need a fixed-position 3D-scanner to get proper orthographic measurements to go by.

The main reason not buy one is i don't have a need for one right now other then to grab some dimensions off of. Its not about funds is more about being picky about what I own.
As for building off pictures I know it not the best way. I work in the Design world and I would love to just 3d Scan it. I have a VERY high res 3D scanner i could use, but so far getting my hand on a M0110 here in portland has been a no go. I have used photos in the past to build off of and I have had very good results when the object has straight lines its much easier to tweak the lens effect out of the photo in photoshop. but you are very right!!!!
The idea for the project is not just make a replica but to tweak the design so as not to lose the feel of the keyboard. but to deal with some of the design issues. ie: height of the keys, the wasted space on the side could be used for battery and Bluetooth, maybe put a Pi zero in there to make it an all in one computer and go headless into my ipad... I Dont know where I'm going to go...

Ok, so thanks much for the help. I did find a Guy that has one here in portland. I have a few scanner here at work and they are industrial so I could scan something as big as a car at super high res. but once I have it scanned I'll keep this updated with some of my work. the Pics are really nice!
