Hey Guys,
I'm looking for a Keyboard, that has a layout like this one but without this macro-keys on the left.
https://www.massdrop.com/buy/red-scarf- ... yboard-kit
Is there a keyboard or a PCB/Plate/Case-Combo for that?
Thx a lot.

Thats true
, but the drop has ended few days ago? To bad I missed it!
Are there any other options to get a whitefox or a keyboard with that layout?

As far as I've heard there will be another drop!
If I were you, I'd wait till that and dodge whatever this macro thing is.

I think that would be the most intelligent way to do. But when will the next drop be, any suggestions? But I'm pretty bad in soldering and I want have some Ergo-Clears from Vintage-Clear-Stems
Would be hard to get I think. But thats an other problem to solve

I see you are in Germany!
If you don't mid I could solder it for you
I guess the next drop is scheduled on August or September, I am not 100% sure. I have to look this up for you.

Thx for ur offer
I have a dude here in Germany who would maybe do it for me, if he has the time for soldering. I will see. Agust/September sounds sweet.
And I want to habe a ISO-DE Layout. But thats possible with the whitefox. Could be the perfect Board for me.

Thx a lot!
The Problem is, that I really want Ergo-Clears on the Keyboard. But If I'm right is the plate of the whitefox pretty usefull. So I can open the switches without soldering. Is that right? Would be marvelous.

Yes you can remove the switch tops without desoldering the switches.

Yes, here are pictures of the plates. They have these notches on the side that allow you to open the switches:
https://input.club/whitefox
But remember, only before LEDs!
If you put LEDs in on top it won't work. Unless you don't solder the LEDs but plug them in SIP sockets.
Then you can open the switch (but still have to take out the LEDs manually, and don't lose them!).
Or you do it like DanielT and solder the LEDs inside the switch. Looks great with translucent switches (Zealio, Gateron) but also fine in Cherry. But I think it is better suited for boards with an acrylic plate, or plateless builds.
I don't think it would work well under the whitefox aluminum plate.
Edit: Nice one, stabilized beat me to it because once again my post turned out much longer than expected.

Leopold FC660M? It just misses the page down and up keys compared to the whitefox but you get a insert key in exchange.

There is no ISO-Option for the Leopold...

Originative's TADA68 is a fine option.

Other options include the Whitefox or Redscarf RS 68.
The latter is sometimes available on Taobao, I also got a RS84 from there (same build in a different layout) but in the long run was not 100% satisfied with the build quality of these keyboards, and also found that I didn't need that many (84) keys.
Discussion with Taobao links, but the keyboard is currently sold out anyway:
https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyb ... _alu_case/
If you want quick results, fun, and save your wallet a bit I recommend going 60%, get all the features you need, lighting, custom layout, except for one row of keys. How badly do you need those keys anyway?
Or you go with one row more (F-Row), and get a b.mini from winkeyless.kr or a NerD MX-Mini from GON, or a RS84.
If you want that specific layout I would wait for the second round of Whitefox to get a keyboard that is potentially higher in quality than the kits from China. Or try to get one from the current round.
Edit:
Or this
Forgot about that one!
ISO option is available:

EDIT2: Orders end tomorrow, but there will be a second run of the Tada68 as well, with more options, after August when the current round has shipped. Source: Reddit

All I can say is that it was totally worth for me to switch from ISO to ANSI... It's just the real deal for programming imho.
Maybe give it a try? Plus you will suddenly have an endless source of good keycaps! Not so much with ISO sadly

Heh, that is one of the reasons I still stick with ISO.
Too many keycap options = too much money spent. Nowadays I see beautiful keycaps and think, no ISO, so I don't need it.
But the main, bigger reason, is that I use ISO at work and sometimes have to work on other people's computers. Not being able to type properly on a standard ISO keyboard just doesn't look right as an IT professional.
But I am looking forward to the HADapter kit, which will give some nice options for experimenting with ANSI and UNIX layouts, even though I feel more at home with ISO at the moment.
I keep an ANSI board, too, my Lexmark SSK, because it is simply the best buckling spring board I have and don't dare to modify it in any way.

There is nothing more formidable than approaching your colleagues desk, open your bag and plug a blank HHKB into his computer to start your wizardry with!
But leave the Anime Miniatures in the bag, at this point it gets awkward
I find it very amusing that people can't use my stuff

Heyhey...
no I really don't want to change to ANSI. Do u know how much the whitefox was?

I paid 200usd for a DIY ISO kit with Cherry MX Clear switches. Though I will use either Zealios in MX housings or old smooth brown or black switches.

The Clueboard is a good option:
http://clueboard.co/
I went with the RedScarf that you linked specifically because of the keys on the left- but before that, I was going to do the clueboard.

200 USD sounds ok. I dont need switches or LEDs, cause I have some Vintage-Clears around. So without switches and stuff the whitefox is something about 150, right?
But I'm looking for some 65g-Springs und I don't know, where I can get them.
The Clueboard looks good to, but I like the whitefox more. One big plus is the plate!

I may have some 65g springs if you're looking for those. I will check.
The problem with the whitefox is not the price but the availability. It's not something you can just order in a shop, you have to cross your fingers and wait for the second round... And then wait some more because delays always happen in group buys.

Thx for the Tipp, cookie, but I dont need 3 packs of them. And there arent some 65g-Springs.
Only for "linear" switches. Dont know. I will ask shrebbles for some springs.
