I am renovating my first Alps keyboard with white SKCM Alps. Thanks to Chyrosran video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Mhmb2kBuwQ I would like to clean switches and also try to restore "clickiness/tactility" as he describes - by small bending of tactile leaf / contact leaves back towards the center of the switch. However - my question is: my board seems to be in pretty good condition = not heavily used. All the switches have uniformly around 2 mm of distance between tactile and contact leaf. Chyrosran advice is to bend them so they "almost touch" each other. What does it mean (from your experience) in terms of actual distance? I will try to experiment with it but I would like to know your experience. What is default state of (not heavily used) Alps switches? Is it +- this distance I have seen on my keyboard (cca 2 mm) or are leaf ends closer to each other?

If your board is in good condition, DON'T fuck around with the switches, just leave them be. That video was meant for boards that have actual trouble functioning properly .
