Yup. That’s the Type-S I know so well.

I kind of admire how long these recordings are. (Catering to the “ASMR” craze perchance?) Too long for me not to skip around a bit, so maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see you press Fn once. C’mon! The HHKB experience is to embrace the chords.

The most awkward move I routinely pull on the HHKB is Shift + Option + arrow keys for doing word by word text selections. That’s 3 keys on any keyboard, and 4 on the HHKB. Helps that I use the left mods whenever touching arrow keys (they’re always on the right after all) so it’s an easily doable 2 keys per hand. But still definitely a routine HHKB move for me, and instantly recognisable.

These videos are meant to be longer versions of the typing demos in the reviews. Those are generally 25-35 seconds, while these are 3 or 4 minutes. It's for the people who just want a bit more to listen to.

Doubtlessly some ASMR listeners will like them too, though. I started adding ASMR tags to them when a viewer suggested it .

Funny enough, HHKB is the only manufacturer that I know of (which aren't many, to be fair) that actually dampen their spacebars. There's a piece of rubber protruding the top piece beneath the spacebar - kind of unique. As for how much good it actually does, well...

To be real ASMR, the videos should be a few hours long! For some keyboards it's probably illegal to ask for that under the Geneva Convention, though.
