Hi - new here, but wanted to share a bit of information I've found on my 'journey' towards getting my first mech board.

As a long time user of the UK layout, I contacted Vortex Keyboard (designers of the POKER, PURE and RACE - I think) on Facebook to ask if they do, or will make any ISO boards. The discussion went as follows:

Me: Do you make any ISO layout boards?

Vortex Keyboard: You mean 105 Key Layout keyboard , if is that !! Yes , We will make that.

Tobias Müller: ‎88 key = ISO TKL would be more interesting

Vortex Keyboard: Yes, 88 Key for us is the same as 105 key , these are EU Layout . (enter key just like JP )

Me: Awesome! Yeah, I would really like an 88-key in that layout with UK/EU keycaps. If there was something like the Race 75% in the 88/105 key style, that would be really cool too.

Vortex Keyboard: As your wish , Race keyboard will have EU/UK Layout !!

Not sure if this is news to anybody, or even if it is a decent confirmation, but this is the first I've seen suggesting that this may happen.

I'll buy a UK layout RACE with MX Browns any day!

When push comes to shove where will you be able to make orders? Straight from vortex themselves or through group buy?

I was just joking. Do hope they get enough support the have an eye for what we want.

I really really hope they do make this board. I'm on the fence about getting a CM Storm Quickfire Rapid as it's cheap, TKL and the new ISO versions are out in a couple of days. I want the RACE 10x more though, but I don't think I can wait much longer.

Looks like its delayed another month at least.

I'm so close to buying one. MX Blacks only at the moment though.

I have a feeling we'll be waiting a while for an ISO RACE, but it is pretty much my ultimate board :/

Going to test Black switches one more time before making a decision.
