Which PS/2 USB adapter for games

Hi,

So I want to use PS/2 keyboard as my main and the thing is that I bought just first from the top USB PS/2 adapter and it is something like that:

The problem is that usually when I press more than 1 key and release any of them, they all get released, so it is impossible to play even games like '93 DOOM, because for example when you hold up arrow to move forward and press the left arrow to turn and then release the left one, you stop to move and have to press up arrow again.

It is not a keyboard fault. I have '91 BTC-5339R-O and some early 2000 XPower shit and they both gave the same result.

So the question is, which converter do you recommend, or all all of them have the same problem?

I had one that had the same problem (even looked similar to yours), but they're by no means all like that.

Would you be comfortable making one yourself? Then you can make a really powerful converter.

Yea, but I have somewhat limited access to the electronics component where I live. I prefer solutions based on STM32, however honestly I have an FPGA board laying around unused, so just show me what you have.

I thought about that before, but I did not feel good about coding it and on the web I've seen firmware only for PICs and that is exactly the thing those converters do, so it was kinda pointless.
