Small scratch on FK-9000 is driving me crazy

Hello!

I recently bought a beautiful FK-9000 keyboard and almost immediately dropped a camera battery on it, which left a small scratch about the size of a grain of rice by the backspace key. I can see the dark gray of what I presume to be color of the keyboard body. It’s driving me mad. I understand I can have some custom paint mixed up at a conventional paint shop, and I’m even willing to buy the minimum 1 gallon to make this right. I know the body is made of PVC, but I have seen recommendations for both acrylic and vinyl paint to be used. I’m not sure which to pick.

I also read there might be specialists who can perform the touch up for me with their own paint supplies. Since I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, I think I might have a chance of finding someone like that locally. Can anyone recommend a shop specializing in vintage keyboard repairs? If I get my own paint, is there anything more to the technique than using a small paint brush to apply a very small amount? Is there any chance that a plastic polish or paint thinner could hide such a small scratch with the existing paint around it?

I know this is a neurotic thing to be upset by. I just don’t like staring at my own mistake if there’s any chance to cover it up.

Many thanks.
