Hi,

I am still in search of a <_60% mechanical keyboard. I want to use this keyboard in conjunction with my battery-powered
single board linux computer.
So there are some contraints due to that:
- the board should as less power as possible
- due to the above no blue tooth based board can be used. Old scool USB-wired is the way to go.
- I want Cherry MX Blue switches

One of the keyboards which may come into question is the KBTalking Pure 60% with MxBlue switches. Unfortunately
the version of this keyboard without Backlight is not offered currently.

My questions are:
- Is it possible to switch off the backlight of this keyboard completely?
- What is the power consumption of this board, if the backlight is switched off?
- Is there a User Manual available?
- And what other boards which are available in Europe are coming als into question/

Thank you very much in advance for any help!

Best regards,
mcc

- you can switch it off. there are 3 states -off, on (you can adjust brightness), and breathing mod
- no idea
- you probably won't get one in the box, but you can find manuals online (on this forum too)
- wait for someone else on this one :)

I do have a Noppoo Choc Mini with blues for sale if you're interested (owned for 4 months)? I'm not 100% sure on the power usage, but a little Googling should sort that..
