What do you think about Noppoo choc mini ?

They're okay - buy one. It might take a bit of getting used to, but not too much. You might want to grab some keycaps (7bit might have a few left - I save money by not looking at the round4 thread).
If you're thinking of the choc mini or another keyboard - just skip the pain of deciding and buy both.

go for the white version with PBT keycaps.

Or you can get the Keycool 84, which is about the the same in design, but has backlight option as well!

POM (Black Version)
PBT (White Version)
What different ?

As far as I'm aware both versions come stock with POM keycaps. CeeAS probably means he will replace the keycaps at a later point in time as I am also.

Do you know if there's a non backlit version?

There is, the older models are non backlit.

I'm considering getting one of these as well. One problem I run into with these smaller keyboards is hitting other keys when I go for the right shift. Anybody else do that with this board?

i never knew there actually was a backlit noppoo choc, but it seems like it was already discontinued due to poor quality.
right now i can't decide whether to get a kbt race, keycool 84 or the white noppoo...

Does the Choc Mini need to install drivers? Because I want to use this thing at work and I cannot install anything on my computer.

Take a look at my reviews on the white and the black one:

Noppoo has excellent "bang for the buck" ratio, even with its downsides.

The random sizes of the bottom row was stupid!
(And it's only the best 75% kb until I stop being lazy and design mine)

It's the best 75% kb out there for the price! The bottom row isnt that annoying (in terms of the spacebar i agree), imo.
1.5 - 1 - 1.5 spacebar 1 - 1 - 1.5

Do it! I used browns as my daily driver. The pic above is a blue switch one with cherry corps double shots and RGB's. I'm a little ashamed to say that I prefer the choc mini blues over filco's blues. Both are plate mounted but the choc mini just feels less pitchy.. if that makes any sense.
As much as I love the poker 60% layout I use the dedicated arrow keys a lot so I opted for the choc mini. They're definitely the best bang for the buck tkl keyboards out there. Plus it does NKRO over USB!

Here's my Noppoo Choc Mini equipped with nothing but Signature Plastic Crap Bag keycaps
Mine had blacks but I modded it to ghetto reds.

Found a more recent pic:
Switched out to RA double shots and black font RGB's.

There're lots of posts concerning problems of this keyboard.
It looks nice, but I would like it to work and not stay in my way.

Didn't have any problems except for the rather bad soldering (many bent over pins took me some while to desolder when I modded mine to ghetto reds).

I use a Noppoo Choc Mini as my main work keyboard. The model I have is non-back-lit, Cherry MX Brown switches.
Very decent board for the price. Small and easy to shift to an optimal typing position, and light enough to transport if I move to a conference room. Not too clicky, but I am planning to add red o-rings, as I'm a ham-handed typist and I usually bottom out the keys.
I don't usually need the 10-key functionality, when I have tried that feature it works okay, but given that the keys are staggered it's not as easy to touch-type for number entry. I'd probably get a separate number pad if I had a lot of numeric work. YMMV of course.

With the new layout it is the best small sized keyboard out there.
Since when are they plate mounted?

They were always plate mounted. Even with the plate the keyboard can still flex if you twist it with force compared to a filco which feels very solid.
