I have a friend that really really wants one of my keyboards out of a collection. He isn't a keyboard geek just fell in love with it when he saw it. I like the keyboard in my collection but I won't ever use it as it's a rubber dome (m4-1).
Should I just give it to a better home?

As it is a rubberdome, there is no use for it, so sell it to the unknowing for the highest price you can get!

I've voted yes. Keyboards for the masses!
Someone may as well get some use out of it, and then it makes room for another keyboard in your closet.

I'm not selling it to him, he is a very close friend.

just lend it to him, so it will still remain in your collection and he can use it^^

I'll just say I'll lend it to him for as long as he wants, but when he is bored, give it me back.

Give it away because it's not a desirable collector's item.

Currently I wonder, what are we voting on here? Yes to giving it away, or yes to keeping it in your closet. Currently I interpret it as voting "Yes" on "Decide it for your self". If you really like this board, and really want it to stay untouched, then keep it. If you don't, you probably wouldn't have asked here.

Just give it to him, but ask him to give it back or pass it on if he stops using it.

Lent it to him, but he isn't going to grab it until next week because I plan on doing a big picture of all my IBM boards.

I always lend keyboards to my friends. Makes me happy when they get used and I only have two hands and 3 computers.

Gave a Dell AT101W to a friend who had one himself but it broke down. He was real happy about it and I already have 5 or 6 at the time.
