I couldn't find a post about
this, so here it is. Looks a lot like Round4.

Was just reading the EK newsletter and came here to see if it was reported
...Probably would have been better to create the topic in 'Product News' though.
This keyboard seems as though it serves a pretty particular niche (Data Input companies with a bit of extra money to spend...or is that 'on a budget' when compared to 100,000+ yen complete input systems?). I wonder if the 108UG sold well in Japan...

Those keys seem way too high. I don't understand how that's better ergonomically (having to angle your wrists even further up).

This is retro orgasm! Especially the beige one (not pictured on EK site)

Seems I'm influencing the world quite a lot.
On the other hand, they did it wrong: Space bar is too large and text is not centered on the key caps.

They had to build them that high in order to justify the modification of the switches. Imagine you could just buy the keycaps without the board and use them on your HHKB/87u/86u... That is not the way the make profit : )

You can always buy the keyboard for the caps as I'm planning to do and use it on a tkl board.

Reckon they're compatible?
I've never as much as touched a Topre, let alone popped off some caps and played around.
If Topre gets this out there in TKL before I've saved up for my HHKB, there's a chance it could be mine. Both look so good.
A mere 346.56 USD for the fullsize one from Elite Keyboards, delivered to my door. Not much more than an HHKB via Smart Imports from Japan. (Wince.)

don't think they are compatible, unless you are willing to exchange the whole slider

You can put a Hi-Pro cap on a standard Topre switch, but not the other way around.

Just imagining an HHKB decked out in these. Come on internet, don't fail me now!

Ah,
Nissho.
I wholly endorse this retro chic coming out of Japan right now.
