She is fully working on a blue cube converter. Obviously needs a good cleaning and retrobriting, thats for a summers day.
Here is what they sound like
Seems to me it's a clone of the Model M.

What's your opinion of them? There were some guys who were chasing Alps BS keyboards for ages, only to be let down by their average feel in the end

They feel like something in between MX Blues and IBM Model M buckling springs, I kinda like them.

Ah, Research Machines. Every PC in Edinburgh University was one of theirs in the 1990s. Slow as all hell with the egregious Novell Netware setup they ran in those days. Probably banged out more words on the keyboard with my head than I ever typed.
Yours looks cleaner than they did in the field. Mustn't have served a tour in the lab.

I think nearly every institution of education had them
I plan on giving her a coat of bblonde cream in the future.
