Contemporary Cherry switches

I've created a new topic
http://deskthority.net/wiki/Category:Pr ... n_switches
I've added the Cherry switches that I know are sold, but there are clearly more variants sold than Cherry list on their website! Someone with access to an up-to-date list can add the remaining switches to the category.

By the way, we're getting lots of wiki hits from google and other places, and topping those hits are the Cherry MX pages. They're getting quite authoritative. But I think these articles can be improved too. Maybe force charts, more pictures (decomposed switches perhaps), more info, etc. Any improvement can help.

I just fixed a load of bad typos on the Cherry MX pages I modified. Definitely need more photos, though!
Unfortunately I'm only the Alps guy :-p

I want you to determine yourself what would improve those articles
But now I'm thinking about it, I guess what would be nice is for starters to have one picture with all (major) switches for the general MX article, and separate, simple pictures of a single switch for each article for the info box on the right, where there's usually a 7bit box now (those can go to a gallery section). In the main article we could use thumbnails of those pics in the list of different MX switches. I'd do it myself, but I can't make good macro shots with my current camera.
And then it would be nice to have pictures of decomposed Cherries. The Cherry fans should know what's most relevant to focus on. Maybe one of those pictures with springs lined up in order to compare them. Me, in the end I'm an IBM man. That was a good choice, considering the relative simplicity.

A good shot of each switch by itself, cropped tightly. Various switches (clear, grey, brown for example) don't have a close-up photo of a single switch at all. I would personally use single-switch photos for the infoboxes instead of Lethal Squirrel's animations, especially as the animations don't cover them all and this creates inconsistencies.
Photos of each switch's internals would be nice.

Today 33% of our traffic is coming from Norway, all viewing the Cherry MX Brown page.
I think because of
this article, but the hits come through google. Løgitech's første mekaniske tastaturet.

It wouldn't be that difficult to crate some new animations to keep it consistent if need be.

Ah, so unless anyone else changed the categorisation while I was away, I was spot on.
Thanks!
