Topre Cluster Tester, Round 2 : Worldwide!

START OF WORLDWIDE TOPRE TESTER TOUR

Managed by : scope2k

Subscription starts : 22-1-2013
Subscription ends : 22-2-2013

If you want to participate, PM scope2k your name and address, he will manage it from there.

NOTE : the sinklist manager will guide the process for you, he will tell you what to do and what he needs from you.

The Topre testers consists of :
1. Normal Mrinterface TopreTester
2. A special TopreTester , a Topre key without the spring ( which is only used for the electrical function )

A SurpriseBag will be shipped with the sinklist item. If you like something that's inside, you are allowed to swap it for something equal in value, preferably more so the total value of the bag increases. The contents of the bag are for the sinklist manager so he can be rewarded for his efforts.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY THREAD. A NEW ONE WILL BE MADE BY THE SINKLIST MANAGER!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The following info is old. This topre cluster is lost in the mail. A new one has been made.

After some tough work and many lessons learned , I finally put together 4 topre keys in a cluster :

This was a bitch to align and therefore it was not a very tidy job, but the result was pretty OK. It gives you a very decent Topre keyfeel. I did not put the spring of one keyswitch in, so you can get a chance to feel the topre without the spring so you know how much of the keyfeel is being generated by pure rubber :-)

These are 55g switches.

As of today 14-6-2012, I will take participants for this try before you buy item.

It will be sent out 25 June 2012 to the first one on the list.

This list is a worldwide list, so its not restricted. I will shuffle the list before I send this one out so the amount of bordercrossings is minimal ( so there is no FIFO! )

Good to see this come round. Of course, if I like them, it's going to cost me a lot more than a little postage...

To make a keychain you'd have to attach the keychain bit to one of the screws. So, not hard....

I'd like to try them !

France. But If possible I'd like either a french or a german guy to send it to, as I'm 10km from the german border away. I can just go on the other side to send it off.

Hi there! received the cluster today, sending it out Monday again.
I had a spare KBC box and some foam left over, so I made a fitted box for the cluster. Should travel a lot safer now. I will take some pics later.

MrInterface, please let me know who number 2 is and where to send it. Fossala or Trax?

theDuke pmed for address.

I recommend removing the cluster from the box for testing, as the bubble foil is not a suitable surface for testing.
