Dude, don't make me feel all guilty about my order now.Belfong wrote:This configuration is interesting. But it looked like you need to spend a lot:panpipe wrote:Like this?
Thinking of doing that with my Poker. Do you think it would be a good idea? I've no experience with SA SPH caps. I just really like the look of them.
HONEY/ALPHA/RED (ALPHA kit in red | $29)
HONEY/PUNCT/RED (PUNCT kit (DE,DK,FI,NO,SE,UK,US) | $39)
HONEY/FUNMOD/BLACK (Function and modifier kit in black | $39)
HONEY/SPACE625/BLACK (Space (6.25 units; black) | $5)
HONEY/REDESCAPE/R3
Total of US$113 (!!)
AND even then, these are all Row 3, meaning your Poker 2 will be very flat! I don't know if it is worth the $ to get the look but not the curvature of the board. I could be wrong as I am relatively new too.
The thing is I've always wanted to try a DSA set and similarly they're all flat. People don't seem to have a problem with them on their Pokers. I think the small size of the board helps with the lack of profile. I'll try it at least, seems there's always a healthy after-market if I can't get along with it.

It has ever been. But it is now double shot, not engraved.
DSA with only 1 and 1.5 units keys.
BTW, I made the ERGO kit in only row 3 but I could also make a row 1-4 version.

I am sure the approval took a bit because the GH mods just wanted to make sure that it was an official thread since it was in marketplace.7bit wrote:...his post required aproval by the ... moderators.

Nah, just keep it as it is.....this would help me saving lots of money.7bit wrote:Yeah, the plan for red keys was just ESACAPE, TRANSMIT, etc and a simplified international alnum kit.BimboBB wrote:...
No. For full red a modifier kit would be missing and the numeric kit is missing the vertical "+", "enter" and "numlock".
Oh, and "print/scroll/pause", "insert/delete" block plus cursor keys are also missing in red.
Now this is growing to a 2nd color style.
But would it be possible to add a black escape (and/or kbrunner) key? That would be great.

Round 6 is going to be so red. With a Dirge set for the function row.
I'll colour match a nice BBC Micro while I have the wheel. For future reference.

Black ESCAPE should be part of FUNMOD/BLACK.

Place holders for legends which should be added later. I calculate prices for kits from the layout graphics, so these are there to drive the price up.

I think a "Z" in row 2 is needed in the French Azerty kit and a row 2 "E" with the "€" would be nice too. I am gonna place a pretty big order for 6 or 7 kits, i hope there will be more orders from other french people to make this happens.

Z in row 4 is the same as Z in row 2.Ichigo87 wrote:I think a "Z" in row 2 is needed in the French Azerty kit and a row 2 "E" with the "€" would be nice too. I am gonna place a pretty big order for 6 or 7 kits, i hope there will be more orders from other french people to make this happens.
€ on E ? I just removed that from BEPO and we did not have this in Round 4 FR layout.
Also, it would make FR layout even more expensive!

Please stop drinking Vodka!
With the money they made from Round 4, SP purcheased molds for these SA-family key caps:
ISO-RETURN (now for double shots instead of just blanks)
2.25 units, row 3 (left SHIFT and RETURN)
2.75 units, row 3 (right SHIFT)
We also paid for 6.25 and 7 units space bars!
So we paid for all those keys which Diatec use for their spherical kits, all from the painfully collected Round 4 money!

They could pay back the favour by placing a nice big order in Round 5. (And then resell them at a markup in the Japanese market.) Same for Noppoo with those MX fit Topre clones they're showing off. Go high end. Go Honeywell!7bit wrote: So we paid for all those keys which Diatec use for their spherical kits, all from the painfully collected Round 4 money!
