The width is the same as a usual 101-105-key keyboard, but with function keys to the left instead of above row 5.

Nice! Probably a little big for me, though.
I would be much more interested in a more intermediate HYPER layout, eg. alphanumeric section + numpad to the right.

I had the plan to cut the numpad off, but the function keys?

No nav block? Madness. If you're going to take up the whole desk, put some dang arrows on it!
Vertical function key columns are nice though. And since this has Macro in the name, are macros supported? Could be good to include a block of programmable single key functions, Tipro style. I wouldn't want it, but there's maximalists out there. Perhaps repurpose the numpad for those who prefer?

My, look at ansi625

Yes, the fewer the better!
For me, it would be nice to have a layout something like this (ignoring labels, specific key sizes etc):
- Capture.PNG (19.33 KiB) Viewed 6084 times
This, or something similar with a standard bottom row and shift.

There are 4 arrow keys and 4 extra keys. From you usual navblock are only 2 keys missing, but there are a lot of options to move them.
The basic idea is to make something like a model F-layout, but with separate cursor keys, instead of using the numps.
BTW: There will be more layout variants.

A keyboard even bigger than my Model F? Maybe I'll wait for the HyperModerate...

I'd be interested in one.

I am intrigued. But where to put it in..

OK, I will make one version without numpad and one without the function keys.
If you want both cut off, a qHack might be for you.

The crown jewel. Iirc there were only a few complete kits made for the whole hyper7 right?

Only 2.
But the keys where/are all available separately.

Nice layout but his won't fit any case I know about. Getting this pcb means you're on your own with the case. I have to resist.

I have to imagine if enough of these sell we can ask go in on a case together as well.

I'm already designing a case.
It is a top secret project.
All I can say is that it will revolutionise the world of data input devices!

Now I'm scared, but I'm also in for 2 pcbs just because I want to see this case.

I just noticed your hypermicro thread and thought those pcbs looked terrific. then i was hoping for a larger version and stumbled on this...
I would love a tkl or full size ... and even this is tempting, but even if you do build a case some of us would have to hunt all over for the various profiles for those function keys (i know I would).... I don't have a single keyset with compatible function leys.
other than that.. i have say you work looks fantastic 7bit!

I'd love to either remove the number pad, or move it to the left. That would be super amazingly great.

Place numpad on the left side, function row on the right.

The ANSI700/T has my attention . An extra row of function keys for user specific macros would be even better!

The more I think about this ^^^ layout - and I am a right-hander - the more I think I would like to try this.
