Yeah, those keyboards are on Ebay for a long time now. But at 10 + shipping, it becomes interesting, I might take one.

Around 8-10 people are needed for the price of 15€ per keyboard, and I'm sure about that as I've already talked with the seller about it.

I still don't know how many we need to be to lower the price more, but it's obviously also in his interest to sell the most of them. If we reach bigger numbers I will probably go and pick them up in person, as it's not that far from me.

If there is someone interested in the keycaps only or the switches only, you can reach an agreement with each other and splice parts...

The switches alone are worth the trouble, I think.

Are you sure it's not a G80-3422 LAMVA (as in "Vatican")?
On the other hand, having fast only numbers, couldn't it be considered to be an extended numpad?

I don't know how other GBs like this works, but I think I can collect the payments of everyone who committed for 15€ at the moment. You are going to pay for the keyboard only now (15€), and after we are all set you will pay for the shipping, and if the keyboard for example will reach 10€ you'll pay 5€ less for the shipping. What do you think about it? If someone more experienced about GBs thinks there's a better way I'd be glad to know.

Put me down for one whole keyboard. I suppose the shipping of the whole board to USA will suck but it's still cheap enough probably to be worthwhile.

I checked and it is 40€, I'm gonna look for something cheaper but that's already one of the cheapest couriers

40EUR for shipping was more than I thought it would be. Even still... if they get down to 10EUR I suppose $55ish shipped is acceptable to me. Pretty hard to beat that price on a new G80 in USA most of the time. Otherwise... I think 34XX usually have diodes for NKRO, but if not then perhaps I will just take the keycap only. Just a bunch of numbers would look fun on the Plank I have coming.

Any idea of the original application of these? Seems to be some transactional functions, but I prefer the idea that this is part of the papal selection system

I'm in costant contact with seller, which seems a bit hesitant to price lowering after I got the price of 15€ per keyboard. Price reductions will come only as we come near to the total number of the keyboard, it looks like he wants to sell them all in this one time. Anyway he assured me that if we buy the 45-50 keyboards of the total lot, we will have the price of 10€ per keyboard which I told you about... So we need to get more interested people to have that price. If you want to post in other forums and reddit you're free to do so.

Tomorrow I will start collecting the money in the way I explained a few posts ago:

The orders will close and the payments will be required at the middle of the next week. I can't protract this too far in time, as I have university exams in July and I should be already studiyng. Tomorrow I will PM everyone who committed (paypal with fees on you or paypal gift for payments) and I will decide a definitive date for the end of the orders.
