Hi,

I'm primarily a r/mk user so this is my first post here, I am conducting an interest check for Tai Hao keycap sets in ISO layout over on Reddit.

hmm good point i think it does but i will ask them.

There is an " extra "set for none standard layouts but i am pretty sure it does come with it out of the box

That just bit me now, I was putting a spare Tai Hao set on an unused Cherry board and was only missing caps lock... The spacebar doesn't fit properly either, the stab holes were in a weird spot.

Just read the GB info page:

Additional key sets are available for keyboards with non-standard layouts - These sets include:
1*Step Cap Lock
1*1x1.75 shift
2*1x1.5 Ctrl
2*1x1.5 Alt
1*1x7 Space bar
3*1x1 Blank key

So you'll probably need the extra £4 set. Then I read:

NOTE - PBT keysets occasionally have issues such as slightly warped space bars, this is not common however if this occurs UKKeycaps is not responsible and cannot offer refunds.

and now I'm rather put off. Meh...

yep they just added the option to upgrade so i will doh

a slightly bent spacebar does not bother me that much. I can always pick up a black cherry spacebar cheap.

Read the line under that Although the payments are made through my store I am just one person and not a company. I can't shoulder the cost if Tai Hao bends a couple of space bars and people want a refund, I can't really afford it. Although if this does happen I'll do my very best to get replacements from Tai Hao.

Just worth mentioning that people have had great success heating the space bars with a hair dryer against a flat surface. I know that this shouldn't have to be the case although recently, in some of the ANSI group buys, it's happened.

Odds are they're absolutely fine and no action will be needed but just a tip I'll be getting involved, regardless of the twonky space bar.

Yeah the standard set is ISO and ANSI.

MOQ is still 4 sets away, however I am considering going ahead with it anyway even if it does not MOQ, as I don't want to disappoint people

MOQ is reached and then some! One day left! I'll make the order with Tai Hao on Monday night after 11pm has passed.
