This is about the colors for the next spherical key cap group buy.
After 2 rounds of Honey and Cadet style, it is time for something new!
Please suggest what you would like to have.

Those colours would work great in dyesub… intriguing!

+1 For a yellow color scheme, its something heavily underused in keysets being produced now.

NN on YCB or YCH for function keys and for the rest NN on WFK, so the R5 and R6 leftovers can be used?

It's more of a yolk colour. I think YCF or YBP is much closer.

I'd like to see a set of aged/cream keycaps with NN (black) legends. Maybe paired up with biege/brown mods or charcoal gray mods. Yellow and orange might work as supplemental colorways to Honey, but I don't think we've exhausted the core vintage colorways yet (hence the cream/biege and charcoal gray suggestion).

Green, I think a forest green kit would look beautiful on any keyboard. Yellow, green, and brown kits would all match no matter which combination you put them in.

I thought to suggest beige as well, but there's
Green Screen around the corner (charcoal alphas, beige mods, with a touch of either green or amber).

We discussed the green on black color scheme in the Round 2 thread (the round which did never happen).
Amber on black was our first non-green monitor in the late 1980s ...
Apropos green:

My vote goes to creamy beige alphas, like the cream set that's already been done, but without the purple.
Creamy beige alphas, with black or grey lettering, and grey mods, or blue mods, or a vintage inspired colourway.. but with creamy beige alphas.
There aren't enough sets out there in cream.

facetsesame wrote: ↑- Magenta - commission it as a custom colour, offer as a full set and in a CMYK mod set.
Not sure what you mean. However, Magenta is the worst of all colors, especially because of
Deutsche Telekom.
facetsesame wrote: ↑- "Blanks" with only pad printing on the front, of whatever crazy legends you like
Blanks will not be included again. If I ever manage to do front printing, it will be for the Cadet legends.
facetsesame wrote: ↑- How about glow legends - YCA on NN for maximum effect
facetsesame wrote: ↑- Whatever the colours - offer the cadet legends again
Yes, these will be available in the new color scheme, but only if you all have eaten up your soup (ie everything from Round 6 is sold)!
facetsesame wrote: ↑- And what about those 1.5 unit double stepped "hat" keys?
These come right after ...

Yep, I just wait for the price quote ...

Reverse Dolch? I thought about suggesting the Dolch colorway, but I'm convinced everyone is sick of Dolch already.
Please, no purple or green. And let's stick to white or black legends for now. Readable legends with high contrast are preferable to colored/low-contrast legends. Leave the colorful legends to the rainbow unicorn brigade.

I say we have a contest to see what can be done with nothing but shades of blue.
Then again, I love blue so there's that.
