Interest Check: Double Shot Keycaps - "Project: Red Alert"

Another Signature Plastics order I am planning to create with a friend from Korea. The interest check will also be posted over on OTD, which makes it likely that it will happen. How many of you here would be interested? If it happens, it will happen within the next 4 weeks and we will need to collect pre-payments this time (unlike with the RGB set).
Color scheme is as of now undecided, it will be one of the three below:
* Pure (Red legends on pure white base)
* Milky (Red legends on milky white base)
* Pure Mod (Red legends on pure white base with light grey modifier keys)
This design is partly based on some old HP Terminal keyboards and the Realforce prototype shown on the Topre day last year:

I was about to click yes but saw the Cherry MX fine print. I thought from the pics it was gonna be Topre keys.

To bad it's ANSI, the only ANSI-boards I own are
my two US IBM clicky-boards .
I really like the idea however ....
So much that I might buy a set or two if the price isn't obnoxious

The milky white is something like this?
I actually like a lot this colour combination. It would help me too to see lettering at night ( I need it sometimes...
)
I supose I'm in since this would look quite nice on a Filco, even if the case is black.
Group buys are going to kill me...you wanna cath'em all!

Sort of interested in the Milky one. With my desk, I can't really pull the cold and sterile look.

Not sure if I want.. SP's keycaps are so damn thin....

by manfaux
I'm interested in a pure+grey modifiers set.
but like calavera said, SP keys are quite flimsy.. so I hope it's not too expensive.
P.S. What's the"Filco Capslock: 1x Capslock key, nonstepped, center stem" option ? isn't that standard affair?

Price will be around $40-50.
From the looks of it a red on black set will happen as well, probably in the same order.

I like the red. Will you also be having them in blank configuration?
Wait..

Signature Plastics is giving us very good price rough estimates around $50-60. This would include all options and even two full color "schemes". Most likely the final details will be 1) and 3) and you will get both in the same order, along with all the options.
More info later when I receive a new quote.

Just cancelled all my vote at Geekhack Third Round...
It was just going nowhere, or I should say
everywhere.
Will vote for this set though. Look forwad to it.
Love the 3rd one.
I was passing a idea to
Uranium, whether the darker tone could be red with white lettering.
May be it was too much.

Here is the deal, the price will likely end up being something around $50, not much higher. This will include the following:
- 87 keys - Full "tenkeyless" set in white with red legends (to create the look like image #1)
- The following extra keys in light gray color with red legends (to create the look like image #3):
ESC, F5,F6,F7,F8, Pause, Scroll, Prt Scrn, Backspace, Tab, Ins, Del, Home, End, Pg Up, Pg Dn, Enter, Shift_L, Shift_R, 2x Ctrl, 2x Alt, 2x Winkey, Menu/App Key
- The following option keys:
Capslock (Unstepped, center stem, white with red legend)
Capslock (Stepped, left-aligned stem, white with red legend)
Capslock (Unstepped, center stem, light gray with red legend)
Capslock (Stepped, left-aligned stem, white with red legend)
2x Ctrl (1.5 sized, red on white)
2x Alt (1.5 sized, red on white)
2x Ctrl (1.5 sized, red on grey)
2x Alt (1.5 sized, red on grey)
Shift_R (1.75 sized, for G80-1800, Noopoo Choc, 356mini, red on white)
Shift_R (1.75 sized, for G80-1800 Noopoo Choc, 356mini, red on grey)
Spacebar 7.0 size (for keyboards without windows keys)
2x custom legend FN key (row 4, red on white)
2x custom legend FN key (row 4, red on grey)
So basically for the price around $50 you get set #1 and #3 combined - a whole shitload of keys to fit pretty much every keyboard you can think of. We are glad we were able to work out this price for the entire set with SP, good deal for everyone.
So with that in mind, please again voice your interest if the new situation changed your mind!
