My guess is Round 3 Signature Plastics Doubleshots. Would have been possible to order at 7bit's Round 4, but that's closed.

Hi, is possible to make exactly the same keycaps from Signature plastics.
http://www.solutionsinplastic.com/
We could organize a group buy; This is the following price breakdowns:
5 sets $243.36 per set
10 sets $141.44 per set
15 sets $107.47 per set
25 sets $80.29 per set
Shipping costs not included.
I think it isn't difficult to arrive at least 10 requests.
Let me know.

This proves that 7bit must be the Keyboard Oracle!

Oracle went on his meditation way before 7bit did.

I'm in fact looking for these as well. If possible, it would be nice to also throw in a few of those
Space Cadet-style spherical key sets that were a part of Round 4. I've been dying to get a set of those as well.
Count me in.

Best case scenario...25 kits for 85$... in ansi... that means i need a moogle kit fo fit the caps into my ISO layout.... Holy fuck, thats way too expensive

you should rather expect 100 sets or more ... cross post this on geekhack and start taking orders and add an iso option

from what I've seen $ 100 for a set is normal. It would be enough to get 10/12 order...

Going off the retro theme, may I suggest the following control keys: "Control," "Meta," and "Super"? I believe the win key in OP's picture already reads "Super."

frankbartoli: any update to organizing this group buy/posting this on GH?
Posted: 15 Oct 2012, 10:35
by frankbartoli
I counted 8 people, including me. Too few for now.
Expect an answer from 7bits and if he can not help us I'll organize the buying group.

I'll raise that and say that I'm interested in 2 kits, and possibly 3 if the price is around or below the $80-$90 ballpark

(If you're not gonna be posting this to GH), might I suggest changing the title to maybe have "Interest Check" and/or something about the color scheme/round #? I'm sure it would garner more attention that way.

Can someone please repost the picture he was referring to in the OP?

Go to your first post and change Category to Group buy and change Subject in a more descriptive way (but i don't the DT rules regarding GBs)

Unless you have already been a GH member for quite some time, I doubt the mods will allow you to post a GB. I have seen many people have their GB threads closed and locked for having too low a post count to start a GB. May I suggest working with a long time GH member to get the buy going over there?

Currently there are no rules and people have to make up their own mind.

or tell some of the GHers to use here instead, we could do with a few more members....as long as its not the click clack mad crowd.
