Time to-do an interest check for a g80-1800 compatibility set to be used with SP keycap sets.

Typically with the combination of base kit + 10key kit + tsangan kit you would have enough caps to fit everywhere on an 1800 board, but it had the wrong profile and/or legend for 5-6 of them.
If you were trying to fit an 1863/1865 board, you needed to order 2 tsangan kits to get the 7 1x keys and find a 6x spacebar from elsewhere to use

To make a set fit all keys on an 1800 with the correct profile, you need 5 or 6 additional keys. This will be called the 1800 kit
-SP ROW 4 1x 0 key (this key is usually included with the 10key kits, but for WYSE sets it doesn't exist anywhere)
-SP ROW 3 1x +
-SP ROW 2 1x -
-SP ROW 1 1x Delete
-SP ROW 1 1x End
-SP ROW 1 1x Page Down

To make a set fit all keys on an 1863/1865 with correct profile you need 8 additional keys. This will be called the 186x kit
-SP ROW 4 1x Ctrl (qty 2)
-SP ROW 4 1x Alt (qty 2)
-SP ROW 4 1x windows (qty 2)
-SP ROW 4 1x meta (qty 1)
-SP ROW 4 6x spacebar

Here is a picture showing the keys necessary for an 1800 in red and the additional keys necessary for an 186x in purple:

anything else like the 1.75x right shift or ISO things are covered already in the tsangan kits or ISO kits and not here.

I don't expect there to be a lot of interest for these, so even hitting the usual 25 minimum tier will be expensive. So no pricing as of yet
I expect there will be even less interest in the 186x kit, which is why I have things split out in 2 at least for the interest check.

No fancy form here, just respond in the thread below which kit(s) you are interested in and which SP keycap sets you are interested in (WYSE, CCnG, RA, Ragnrock)

Format:
QTY, TYPE, COLOR

Example:
1, 1800, WYSE
1, 1865, WYSE
1, 1865, CCnG

PRICES (do not include shipping costs from SP to me)

"1800 kit"
5 sets $53.43 per set
10 sets $27.95 per set
15 sets $19.45 per set
25 sets $12.66 per set
50 sets $7.56 per set
75 sets $5.86 per set
100 sets $5.01 per set

"186x kit"
5 sets $34.31 per set
10 sets $19.02 per set
15 sets $13.93 per set
25 sets $9.85 per set
50 sets $6.79 per set
75 sets $5.77 per set
100 sets $5.26 per set

Thanks!

First post updated with prices from SP. As expect they are quite expensive as we are at such low numbers. I'm just going to try and make the WYSE set's happen for now as they are the only ones with a chance.

It would be nicest to buy up to the 25 tier and have people get >1 set. But we still need more than 3 people on each set and willing to even try that :(

I like the 1800 layout, and applaud you for wanting this to happen. But I suspect that with GMK the new guy in town, people are reluctant to order from SP what is considered to be lower quality keycaps. Myself, I'm definitely waiting to see if a similar kit will be offered from GMK.

these kits are specifically for SP key sets that have been made in the past (i.e. WYSE or Cream Cheese & Green)

they are not for any cherry made key sets, as black/beige/dolch already come in at least the original 1800 layout.

For future cherry/GMK sets I agree those should happen with GMK, so like for the blue-on-beige set that sherryton is selling, an 1800 set for that should come from GMK
