Hello everyone, today I was browsing japanese Yahoo auctions for some Topre keyboards and I found this auction for 4 new REALFORCE 104UG HiPro YK2100, currently ending in just 2 hours.

The price is 24,800yen + 8% taxes = 26784yen + 580yen for shipping in Japan + 2942.72yen service fee for jauce + 4*2850yen for shipping.

The total is 41706.72yen = ~303 euros (calculated with split shipping for each keyboard so we could even send them directly to people interested instead of having another shipping fee on top of that)

Unfortunately, I can't buy them myself as I don't have much money readily available and my country is really strict with import charges.

If someone is interested on getting them, please let me know but the deal is too good to pass :P

Edit: so apparently the price is 24,800yen per board, so...

Hmm, I didn't think this really looked like a great deal? EK has them for $240 so how much are you saving by going through this method? Just curious.

Well you end up with 303 euros for 4 boards, so ~76euros/board (with shipping) == ~102 dollars/board :)

I am sorry to piss on your chips, but I think that 24,800yen is the single unit price.
This seller is similar to eBay store sellers who will list quantity of items they have but the advertised price is per unit. There's no way this auction would still be around if they were 6200yen each :)

Are you sure that this auction is for all four of them or is the price for one of them?

Yes makes sense, I feel really stupid now, closing this :P

Guess I got really excited and there were 2 hours left so that pumped me up some more :)

No problem :)
To give you some perspective though, the 108-key version of this board went on sale once for 17,000 yen. They had something like 20 boards and they sold out within 5 minutes.
