7bit, how many version 0.1 prototypes are left? What has changed in the 0.2 prototype?

0.1 is the one I will order, 0.2 will never exist because I'm fully confident that everything will be OK in version 0.1!

The differences are:
- corrected switch logic for the mouse-buttons (was alsways closed, unless pressed)
- corrected holes for case (or backplate) mounting (0.0 works OK for most layouts,
- except for those with traditional staggering)
- cosmetic changes (those green fields don't look well in version 0.0)

Ah, I thought that the current prototypes were 0.1 already! Great. Will you offer the other parts (mouse buttons, etc) too?

How about the trackpoint? Can I use my own, like one from the IBM Space Saver rubber dome boards?

The trackpoint must fit through the hole, which is a bit less than 7mm in diameter.

I still don't have a cheap source for the buttons.

I will order controllers and other stuff in 2-3 weeks, depending on how many orders I get for the PCBs etc.

Did you measure the trackpoint yet?

I have 5.334mm if a mount plate is used and 7.112mm with only the PCB. If I make the hole wider, the G and H switches will lose stability.

On my PCB it says "Prototype - Version 0.0 - 2014-08-27" as on the photo above. This still means it's a v0.1 board, right?

I couldn't find my loose trackpoint last night, so today I will look for my second IBM Space Saver and try to remove the trackpoint from that one.

The edges of the trackpoint are at most 4mm and the diameter is less than 4*sqrt(2)==5.65685424949238019520mm
The diamenter of the hole in the plate is 6mm.
I've tried with my thinkpad and found out that the trackpoint is not really moving, so this should be fine.
