I recently got my hands on a keyboard from Russia, clicky keys, latin + cyrillic on the keycaps, the board says Alps SW/Rev-C. I don't have its case though, just the circuit board/switches/cable. I was wondering if it's worth anything or could interest someone in here, or if I should just throw it away?

Those look like white alps (SKCM White to be exact), if they feel nice people would be interested, the keycaps look nice as wellteuf wrote: ↑I've updated my post with an additional photo of one of the switch

That might be worth a little bit of money as a switch/caps donor. Although the Cyrillic front printing looks like a homemade job and is peeling off.

small backspace is a concequance of the big ass enter and finding somewhare to put the extra key, many bae boards have the 1u backspace

Yep I know that thanks, but I think most cyrillic boards have a bae like this as well, so this might be a real cyrillic board, not just stickers. But hey im guessingAnakey wrote: ↑small backspace is a concequance of the big ass enter and finding somewhare to put the extra key, many bae boards have the 1u backspace

Yeah but that peeling symbolises the fall of communism! It's cool like thatTechno Trousers wrote: ↑That might be worth a little bit of money as a switch/caps donor. Although the Cyrillic front printing looks like a homemade job and is peeling off.

Hey Guys,
So I bought this Cherry G81-3000HAU / 09. Exterior condition is great. Looks mint. No shine, hardly any signs of use besides a little easy to clean dirt/dust. Connector is DIN5, keycaps are doubleshot and switches Cherry MY(?). Keycaps seem to fit modern Cherry MX.
Only real problem is: keyboard itself doesn't seem to work. "Membrane" connectors seem a bit oxidized, will try to clean those to see if i can get it working, but I was wondering. How much would this board be worth? Heard the caps might be worth some?
Thanks!

The keyboard portion is not worth a lot buuut since you have a complete set of doubleshot keycaps, they are worth quite a lot! I would say $40 at least., but maybe even $50.

Yeah, more, at least $100 if the condition is as good as said. You can also add something like $20 for the case and cable if they're mint. But you can trash the internals. Or like I do, use them as a stand when you want to wash some keycaps by hand.

$100? Cool! Hope he's getting some $$$ for those keycaps!ramnes wrote: ↑Yeah, more, at least $100 if the condition is as good as said. And he could multiply his money if he converts this to MX

Cool thanks. On closer inspection a few do have shine.
Got stay honest right?
Guess that takes quite a chunk out of what you'd ask for it?

This early afternoon, I was able to seal a deal on this Alps keyboard with white switches for $5 (that's right, five freaking dollars). However, due to limited knowledge in Alps switches, I'm unable to appraise this at a certain price range. It is also that I don't have PS/2 adapters to test whether it's working or not.
Seller said this keyboard was never been used and was stored in a plastic bag in the garage for 30+ years. I can tell by its immaculate condition.

I'd personally price it at around $60. It's got new switches but it suffers from a BAE layout and poor quality keycaps.

Around 100$ would be my estimate if it's classic beige with doubleshots
The light grey version with thin PBT caps maybe 60$ ...

Ya, I'm gonna have to sell the majority of my collection... some Cherry NIB boards left and a few interesting ones maybe.
I'm keeping two Model Ms, a Space Saver, a G80-1000, Raptor Gaming K1 and a board that has unbranded blue ALPS (?) switches. The rest will most likely have to go.

OK price check #2:
G80-2100HDD NIB
G80-2551HAD NIB

G80-2551HAD NIB

Recently a 3700 HAD sold for around 100€ shipped, a ps2 version for around 70€ and I got my HAD for 45€. I personally would value the din versions higher than ps2 and I think some people like the versions with cherry sticker, 60-70€ should be the lower end for an old nib one.
Regarding the 2100: are you sure that it's a HAD? If so some pictures would be nice, we don't have first gen pictures so far. The normal HCD/HDD versions go used for around 125€/200$ now, I guess a nib one is at least double the price as there are a lot of collectors nowadays. HAD or HBD could be higher as they seem to be more rare

In NIB condition maybe ...Half-Saint wrote: ↑I have a number of empty winkeyless G80-3000 cases. Can they be sold?
Or with special labels and branding ...
G80-1000 cases are a little higher in demand ...
