That trade might make sense in the US but in Europe those XTs are damn hard to get. :)

I'd be game to trade actually. I'd trade an SSK for two IBM XT keyboards.
I take two for one iso mx5000 :-)

Mx5000! really. See as you may know I not really much Cherry guy per se but that a MX5000 is like the Cherry version of the IBM M15.

That's why I want two. If you think it hard to get an XT keyboard in Europe, pfff, come to Australia, they come up like every 9 months. I tried bidding on an 5150 with the XT board but it went for $180.

I just traded mine for some keycaps. If things don't mean something to you/don't like. Why not just trade if for something you do?

I just want to know if there was any difference in bolt modding or the blue label due to people being conserned about blue label M's being lower quality. Last time an SSK sold on Ebay Aus it went for about $188 dollars but that was a few months ago.
$70 each with shipping? That's about what I paid for mine, I got one with some large scrapes and dings for $77.

There's not much of a difference between the Blue label and the Gray label, the Blue label just means it's younger. Bolt-modding shouldn't affect anything negatively, it just replaces the fragile plastic bits holding the metal backplate to the barrel assembly.

Why don't you guys trade based on what you want, not what you have to gain.

What's the first one? Make a little wiki entry if you find the time!

This thread is seriously going off-topic - sales talk, keyboard id-ing chatter...

But if you care, the keyboard is already documented as IBM Model F: IBM 3178 Keyboards.

Actually I've no idea how much it is worth, but if you are planning to sell it, I would be really interested. :D

Please let me know your expectations for the board, I am willing to open to any fair prices. Thank you ;)

ZcHuer: Just tell him what you're willing to pay and he will have a lower bound on the value. :)
I'd pay EUR 80.

I'd pay EUR 80.
Then it will turn into an auction :D

Auctions are a perfectly reasonable way to determine the worth of an item.

Just wondering, how much does a IBM Model M13 Black (Trackpoint II) keyboard sells nowadays? It's in a mint condition, including the cables.. No box

Alone the fact that it is ansi will push the value well beyond 100 euro. An auction is the best option should you want to sell it.
