Proxy shipment service: advices? opinions? ...or [WTB] maybe...

Hi everyone! I would like to buy those from Amazon.com

http://www.amazon.com/Vortex-White-Doub ... B00XA71BQC

sadly they don't ship them to Italy. I was thinking about using a proxy service like shipto.com (no experiences about, the first one that pops out in Google...).

Do any European deskthoritans use such services? Any advices on the subject?

All of the above unless some of you have the same exact set to sell ;)

I have successfully used USGoBuy.com before and they merged the packages really nice (6 orders in total I think) and shipping was pretty reasonable. A word of caution though, they calculate shipping before consolidation, and refund what turns out to be extra as credit for the next time. It's not a problem of course with a single order.

I never used this method, but is it secure? And what about taxes and custom fees? Should I add 22%+fees?
Thanks :)

I can add something: I made an account on viabox.com after a small survey. viabox (they're not the only one...) has a warehouse in Oregon to avoid some selling fees ( see here: https://www.viabox.com/shoppers.php ). For custom fees you can read their FAQ. Long story short: custom fees are still there but I guess you can try to cheat on the package value :evilgeek: Use at your own risk (I'm not doing it).
