Something a bit different here:
This Touchstream LP is a little bit of history. I bought it in 2002 for ~$1200, it was produced by a company called FingerWorks which was later bought out by Apple who closed down the company and used the tech in this keyboard to make their first touch device (iPhone). After FingerWorks closed down these things used to fetch 3-4k second hand and had a real cult following.
These keyboards were amazing at the time, unfortunately this one was in an office when a fire happened on a different level in the building and it got a bit of smoke damage. It worked well for a few years after that then some regions stopped responding. I’ve had it in a box for years now and it’s still in the same state it was when I stopped using it.
I’m listing it here because someone might like to see if they can refurbish, use it for parts or just add it to a collection.
