Corona lockdown prompts clearout
Posted: 20 Mar 2020, 16:07
Hi chaps, have lurked for a couple of years but figured deskthority should be first port of call for keyboard clearout. Only a couple of my 'boards will appeal to serious collectors, but those seeking a daily drive might find something useful here for not much $$$. I used to run a bikeshop so packing will be robust. UK-based; all prices GBP; happy to ship by whatever means you favour; photos no problem. Best NP
SOLD Cherry G84-4100 PTMGB, black, UK layout, USB
-Compact keyboard with scissor switches. Handy if you're short on space. Very good nick.
-GBP17.00 plus shipping
Mitsumi KPQ E99ZC, grey, UK layout, PS/2
-Older full-size keyboard, often sold as 'clicky' but not really mechanical. Moderate use.
-GBP12.00 plus shipping
TurboTrak KB9002R, greyish, UK layout, PS/2
-Older full-size keyboard. Moderate use.
-GBP7.00 plus shipping
SOLD Microsoft Natural Keyboard, UK layout, PS/2
-My daily driver for years. Filthy, but works fine.
-GBP19.00 plus shipping
SOLD Philips Logic Analyzer keyboard, Omrons, XT/AT connector, US layout
-This is the collectable one. Full-size QWERTY keyboard built into removable lid of Philips device; base of keyboard forms part of logic analyzer case. Switches are Omrons and feel fantastic. Curly cable exits top left; lettering and graphics impeccable, and build quality rivals IBM gear of the time. Cosmetically excellent. While 5-pin connector means I can't easily test, I suspect a mechanical problem with the spacebar.
-GBP29.00 plus shipping
LIVE ON EBAY -- BIDS RECD SO CAN'T SELL VIA THIS FORUM Coolship Keyboard Computer, nearly new
-Keyboard unit with inbuilt Rockchip RK3066 running Android in a VIC20 style. Has SD slot for software, USB and VGA ports and a socket for 5V DC power. This was flavour-of-the-month on Kickstarter, but disappointed its backers after shipping late, not least because the keyboard wasn't too great. Now scarce. Will likely make some geek's day?
-GBP25.00 plus shipping
SOLD Dell AT102W, UK layout, PS/2, moderate use
-Inevitable entry-level mechanical keyboard. I used happily for six months before swapping out for a nice old Cherry.
-GBP18.00 plus shipping
