[WTS/WTT EU RO] IBM beam spring 3278 Keyboard, German Layout with numpad

Hello guys, i am a computer collector and currently organising a little bit my collection. I will part with a great IBM 3278 beam spring keyboard. The keyboard is not usb converted, it's in original condition (original pcb and cable)

The keyboard was cleaned by me and looks very good for it's age. All keycaps look good, the protection mat underneath the keys has been removed and everything is clean. The top part of the case has some minor marks around the edges where the paint came off but given the age i would consider this in good condition.

I am very new to this forum and I hope I don't breach any rule, given the rarity and my little knowledge about the keyboard market i will sell this as an auction item, the best offer should get it.

I am based in Romania, EU(i have the largest collection of vintage computers here, more than 1000 computers) and can ship worldwide.

Yes, that is the same keyboard, my account on ebay kleinanzeigen is from the time i was in Fulda, it writes in the text, i ship it from Kronstadt (Brasov) Romania, the place i live now.
I would prefer a sale in the EU (no customs, etc) but will sell to the best offer.

I received allready some offers here. Will wait at least until 02.12.2021 as the post office is not working in Romania anyway until 01.12 (30 is saint Andrei, 01.12 is national day and the government made 29.11 also a non working day for state companies like the post)

Also state your price and ask for best offers, You already seem to know what they go for.

I read on deskthority about a simmilar keyboard beeing sold for 2000, i have little to no experience with keyboards as i am into the vintage computer market as i collect vintage computers, this came with a big lot of terminals, i payed a lot for, i knew they go into 1000+ price range but have no ideea how high theese go. I would love to trade this for vintage computers i don't have in my collection, havee been offered a incomplete lisa 2 but i allready have a 2/5 and a 2/10 both working and complete i would also prefer to ship it to EU as it is much simpler, no customs etc. I have posted it on ebay kleinanzeigen as it is a german layout and i have a special bond to Germany altough i live in Romania

This is sadly true. Never used to be so, but nowadays it is. Ebay hasn't changed, just us.

As for Ebay vs. Ebay klein, list it wherever the biggest audience is. People will bid on it. To get full market value, you need the largest audience.

Definitively not easy and not cheap, all know to look for prices on ebay first..

As the parts for building the xwhatsit controllers will not arrive until christmas, if anyone wants it under the christmas tree this is your last chance,

Hello guys, as i didn't have the time to finish the xwhatsit controllers and i ordered two times wrong parts ) and now there is something i would like to buy and could use some money. For this reason i am willing to part with two of this beamspring keyboards, both cleaned, both come with an unfinished xwhatsit controller (you will need to order and install the resistor packs as i ordered the wrong size and they don't fit on the pcb), all other parts present, most of them allready soldered to the pcb.
