[WTS] [EU-AT] Everything in my collection

Hello everyone!

I've finally decided to let go of my keyboard collection - even though I still appreciate beautiful old keyboards & the feeling of switches that were made to last a lifetime, I've come to realize that others may have more use for them and that they are mostly collecting dust in my drawers.

My goal with this is to make it as uncomplicated & fair as possible for everyone, so I'll just post what I have and if anything is of interest then just drop me a message and we can figure things out. That said, please don't lowball me - I'll sell roughly at the current market prices. I'm also open to offering a discount if you purchase multiple items at once.

THIS IS MOST OF WHAT I WANT TO SELL - BUT NOT ALL OF IT:

Vintage MX black switches
Vintage MX clear switches
Custom aluminium TKL cases (from YMDK)
Spherical Alps Dyesubs (sold)
... Lots of other stuff, I'll add more to this list once I get to it

Handsome collection. Is the Realforce for sale? You didn’t mention it. I’m guessing it’s a keeper.

I would possibly be interested in the Fujitsu Mag Reed, Pingmaster, and Kawasaki, in that order. Unfortunately my Tandy 3000 arrived in scratchy shape but FLS is intriguing as a Green Alps lover.

Thanks :)

The Realforce is for sale as well, 45g domes, and I think I lubed it at some point.

Oooh, good question. This is honestly the best feeling model F in my collection and it looks pretty mint.

How about 160€?

Sure, please send me a PM. There's already someone interested in Fujitsu Mag Reed and the Pingmaster, but you're next in line :)

Here's some info about the fujitsu mag reed: viewtopic.php?t=24170

Life throws spanners.

Look at it this way: where do you imagine your keyboards will end up? Have you schooled your apprentice to treasure them when they become your successor? And then onto the next generation and the next? I hope you have a trust fund and a charity set up for maintaining your museum! ;)

No, what happens is someone lands a load of junk their nutty old relative was collecting for whatever reason. They either take it to the recycling, or they sell it (badly labelled) on eBay. You know: the two sources so much of our stuff comes from…

Better to set it free on your own terms and enjoy the takings.

This is true for just about everything. I have literally tons of "stuff" that I have collected over my lifetime, and my kids will have very little use for the overwhelming majority of it.

"My precious .... " (fill in the blanks)

The largest component in both volume and weight is my books, and "nobody" reads any more.

Dead trees maybe. Kindles and iPads seem to still be quite popular. Maybe people prefer their reading to be a rental from a trillion dollar megacorp, like everything else in their lives, rather than a big box of inky paper you picked up from that independent bookstore with the clerk who’s still into Derrida.

One good thing about books besides the absence of DRM or technological lockout: they’re easier to recycle than keyboards. Could well prove useful when Russia has your heat knocked out. Self illuminating in that case, too!
