It looks just awesome in White, I see the leds are white too. Where did you buy it?

I'm thinking about selling the black one you sold me and buy a white one instead

Very nice looking keyboard and nice pictures! Digging the keycaps too.

I think more keyboards should put a function key on the right side instead of a windows key, that way you get media keys as well as a windows key on the left side that is necessary.

That board looks GREAT! Nice pics. If it comes out with MX red, I'm getting one!

I like the white look. The keys on the right of the Noppoo mini don't seem right to me though. Dedicated Pause and Switch Lock keys, but Home and End tucked away in the Fn layer. Del at the bottom seems weird.

Beastly colour scheme right there. Looks amazing and crisp.
Puretrak Talent? Good choice of a mousepad. :)

Hi CeeSa,
hope you remember me: ) Thanks again for having a look at your keyboard collection months ago, helping for the decision for the Topre.
This Noppoo looks fantastic! How much did you pay all in all now? Considering it is now available with Cherry-Reds (that are missing in my collection), this is so tasty!!! But I am hesitating with the buy.

cheers

for shure! What's about the Tipro? :)

I ordered this one direct from the webshop http://www.vendio.com/stores/E-sports-G ... quipments/ from qtan5370.
Overall i paid 84€. On the outside of the DHL package was a reference for an inside worth of 20$.
So i didn't pay any tax.

Good luck with your buy!

The tipro is great, thank you.

I have just contacted qtan about it.

Do you participate in the Doubleshot-GroupBuy?

Could you take a comparison picture between the white and the black keycaps? I'm especially interested in the key texture and the thickness.

I believe these keys came from the same mold as the Noppoo keycaps.
I think it is possible to custom order blank white keys and make custom dye-subbed legends, or just leave the nice otaku look without the annoying branding.

The white caps are not engraved

Do the noppo key caps feel much different because they are so much thicker?

I totally agree with you, this keyboard is really nice. I have it with browns and PBT keycaps and love it so far.
I am buying a second Noppoo choc mini in black with reds, the keycaps are POM, that way I can test the difference :D

@poo or others:

Could you make out a difference between POM and PBT? Which seems better?

I think CeeSa meant the lettering on the keycaps. But I want to know if one could make out a difference in feel.

Fair point!
I always took it as him preferring typing on the white caps over the other ones; prefer the feel of pbt over what's used in the black (pom) and backlight (?).. Though I think I got that from other threads, maybe even geekhack.

Search shows a few things, but he'll be able to tell for sure:
*"this thread isn't about backlight or not, this is about quality.
this noppoo is my 4th noppoo. I prefer the white one bcause of the very good PBT keycaps. The backlight one has the worst keycaps. " & "so good the white, so bad is the backlight noppoo.
the keycaps feels very glassy, hate that.
hrmpf, this could be my last noppoo. " @ noppoo backlit
*nominates choc mini white caps @ caps of 2011

So, sorry for jumping the gun on you ;)

@t!ng; for what it's worth (not all that much), I definitely prefer the default pbt caps on my mx11800 over the doubleshot set I have (from an MY board); maybe it's the lightness, maybe it's the sound, maybe it's the texture; but all in all they feel nicer to type on with these browns under them.

Thanks! I have already PMd Attarian and Qtan for a white one : )

@t!ng : Sorry, I didn't see your post before.
For me the difference is : POM is softer than PBT. The print seems also to be more regularly done on the white PBT than on the black POM. This is my experience on these keycaps, not sure if people will agree with me.
Now I can't see anymore the difference because I mixed the keycaps on both my keyboards to have a checkerboard :D.
