Looks really nice! Really nice idea, too.
One could think this was some overstyled, modern, minimalistic, shopping boutique.

Really nice.
Ascaii also uses Ikea shelves for his keyboards:

Ceesa, in France we are calling that a "dust nest", not a keyboard shelf (a special one for Webwit).

Dust would be my concern as well. But it looks very cool indeed!
EDIT: What are those blue circles under the desks? Some kind of pedals, or what?

yes, one of my footpedals. In BF3 i used to duck, lay down, map and so on.

Looks really good ;D
Normally I'm not a fan of a pure white theme, but this definitely pulled it off, I'm very jealous

So that's a Ikea Lack?
Ikea always lacks for a better name.
The other joke in the USA is Ikea is Swedish for "How The FUCK Do I Put This Together".

Only in America would people have trouble putting Ikea furniture together.

Looks good. Is it a pussy magnet, too? I'm not sure... I thought about building a hermetically sealed display cabinet with curtains for light protection. Then priorities changed and they're still boxed in the shelf.

*Imagines magnetized pussies on the shelves instead of the keyboards*
Not sure. It would look weird.

That's fuckin' genius man!
May I ask what buttons you've used there? - The look like they might be Sanwa OBSA-60 or OBSF-40.

Never knew you liked choco minis so much. What is that grey/blue keyboard? A mod?
Posted: 06 Nov 2011, 12:26
by CeeSA
the grey is modded from a G80-1851. It's like the Yellow one from a Raptor K1 but on more line of keys from the tenkey block.
i often feel more comfortable if everything is tidy but it's not everyday
@002
i think i bought the from here:
http://www.arcadeshop.de/index.php?cPat ... =2a&page=3
unfortunately there is no brand named.
here are the footpedals i made until now:

Simone4 wrote:Ok, so I have seen quite a few keyboard shelves and they all say something along the lines of the depth being 35-45mm. does this mean it’s that long whilst its fully open? The same question about the runners by themselves.
I have a shelf that is 28cm in depth and I want to add a keyboard shelf underneath it. Any suggestions?

What happens when your number of keyboards > the number of racks on the shelves? :S
Kickass shelf btw! Looks like something out of a Bang & Olufsen store!

Sorry, but I have to capture that typo. This one applies to a lot of people here.
