Nice pictures, too bad most of us cannot read any of it. To be fair we do not have any Asian language section in our "» Other » Other languages" section.

I am curious that this keyboard just happens to be the same model (Chicony KB-5191) that mine and Michael Schmid's switches came from — I will invite cherry-jade to comment on this, as he was the original supplier of those switches. It seems a strange idea, to take the PCB from a broken keyboard, and use that to sell off fake MX Yellow switches instead of the real MX switches it came with.
What Brother Dragon seems not to have commented upon is the origin of the Cherry switch, and why that one should be held to be real.

I have no knowledge regarding the background of these yellow switches but if these are all one from one source then all this is pretty worthless since these are not even validated to be real.

Let me translate what BroDragon said(My English is also not good):

Some unscrupulous traders in TaoBao use "ZIJIN"(
sorry I don't know how to translate it correctly,"紫金"'s alphabetic writing is ZIJIN, it means "purple gold",I don't know its English name.)'s key-stem to manufacture fake "Cherry MX Yellow" since 2013.These switches have some same characteristics,They all appear in some variety of non-steel plate keyboard that not cherry production.Use of non-steel keyboard to replace the switches were more convenient.pull cherry switch's top cover up, take ZIJIN yellow key-stem and spring into it,then counterfeit "Cherry MX Yellow".There are many people were deceived because it does not have the trace of the second welding.

There are many statements of where the ZIJIN yellow switches from. Chinese keyboard players called it ZIJIN yellow switches, because it comes from ZIJIN keyboard. and those switches without LOGO.that keyboard's main using is Bank terminal machine. There is a more significant feature in ZIJIN yellow switches:it has Color difference,Even in the same keyboard.

I have already explained the problem when cherry de
send the post of "fake cherry yellow switch".
I never said my switch is real, Uncle fan help to translate my taobao link of yellow switch ,
Include my title and all the words please.
Thank you.
5¥ each one

https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=520911213609

I am not interested in whether it is real — I am interested in whether you swapped the sliders, or whether that keyboard was made by Chicony with the fake switches.

As for these switches:
It has always been like this when I receive it.So I do not know what exactly happened on it.
Cherry's official point of view may be correct,Because no one had found the official information of MX yellow switches.
I had observed these switches carefully, Its workmanship is very meticulous, there are numbers and letters on key-stem like Cherry switches. And not as a switch made in China as deformed(Shrink and Wrinkled).Similarity up to 95%.

I don't think that cherry-jade had swapped key-stem. He is a Senior Chinese keyboard player. He said this is the case when he receives the keyboard.

BroDragon asked me to replace him explain the source of the yellow switches:
Those switches(including MX yellow,MX-M8 adapter,MX Dark Blue and so on) were from a man who had worked at a keyboard factory in Taiwan. They had contacted in the KBC forum. But now lost contact info.

MX-M8 Adapter and MX Dwarfism are probably real Cherry products, as both were used in typewriters. The typewriter manufacturers are unlikely to have made custom sliders — they would have requested this from Cherry.
By "factory", you mean factory (where keyboards are made) and not distributor, right? In either case, a factory or distributor is not in itself trustworthy, as either one could have obtained the switches from a clone manufacturer, or they could have adapted existing Cherry switches themselves to suit their needs with replacement sliders.
It would be useful to have a list of which keyboards have these fake MX Yellow switches. The only two that I have seen so far have been Chicony KB-5191.
