On my way back down from Vancouver, BC this weekend, I drove by Signature Plastics, which is just a mile or so south of the Canadian border. It was closed. I took a couple pictures of the building.
So this is the place where most of our custom key caps come from.

It looks much less impressive than I imagined. Too bad it was closed, you could have given Melissa a visit.

Haha I don't why, but I like seeing pictures of the place. Would have been cool if you could have taken a tour and got pics of the inside!

I actually had a dream about how big something like that was, now I know.

I can imagine some grizzly bears making the keys near that forest like Clack Factory gnomes

You should have left a random gift with a note for melissa in their post box. Perhaps a gnome or a keycap. I'm sure ripster would want the gift to be a "ker ning" themed template...whatever xD

The building is right next to Interstate 5 highway. It is close to a couple small towns. But it is pretty rural. Although it is next to I-5, there is no close by on/off ramp. Had to get off the highway early to drive around to it.
It was closed because I was there on Sunday. Someone said they now close on Friday as well. a four-day work week, they must be making a lot of money so they don't need to work on Friday, or not enough orders to make it a 5-day week.

Ahah, I was expecting some dirty looking facility in a polluted, crowded industrial area!

Nice parking space. That's pure fiction over here. Can't even park your bike.

Here is a link to the bird's eye view of Signature Plastics. Zoom out to see how rural it is. a lot of room for parking space!

I'm afraid to do the factory tour. Melissa would have the boys doubleshot me and throw me in that pond lower left.

You would be buried next to hole 17 at Grandview Golf Course:

lister, i had no idea you were coming to visit! hope you managed to enjoy a bit of our nice weekend weather... it's turned to shit again now. i live just minutes across the boarder in Surrey, and have driven past signature plastics once out of curiosity, but being mostly a B2B operation, there's not much to see.

Yes, last weekend's weather was awesome, for April in the pacific northwest (that would be southwest for Canadian
