Ducky G2PRO Tenkeyless

So I finally got my first mechanical keyboard. The board in question is Ducky G2PRO tenkeyless.
Letters, numbers and arrows are MX brown and the rest is MX white. Keycaps are PBT.
Pictures are taken with phone so they are rather horrible.
So far Im loving the mixed switch layout. I would love to try KB with only white switches.

Welcome to the club! Interesting choice on the switch differences, but I can see where this would be beneficial. MX whites are great I just got to try them the other day for the first time and they are quite unique, almost like a better version of blues!

Just need to know, from where did you purchase that wonderous "Ducky G2PRO tenkeyless?"

I bought it from finnish Ducky distributor. They had small 10 piece shipmemt for sale in Assembly lan. The TKL model should come in wider distribution probably in the end of this month in nordic Europe.

Thanks! Is there reason why there isn't many boards with MX white on the market? Atleast I haven't seen many of those.

Also bought the ducky leather wristrest:
It's slippery as hell and doesn't stay on it's place. Any ideas how to add more friction to stop it from sliding?

If I recall right it's Pan Vision thats the distributor in nordics.
http://www.ducky-nordic.com/ This is their upcoming site, not sure when it's opening though.
Jimm's PC-store and Verkkokauppa in Finland are selling Ducky products atleast. I don't know about the other nordic retailers. Ducky also has it's own subforum in finnish site Murobbs.

Jimm's and Verkkokauppa both sell only full size Duckies - for now. The Ducky Nordic website index has been last modified in April. I hope they get their act together soon.

Howdy,
Just came back from summer Assembly 2012. Nice event this year.
That is indeed Ducky G2PRO tenkeyless. It is a special edition made specially for Assembly event. Only 10pcs was manufactured. Actually that keyboard has MX Brown and MX Clear mix. So light tactile 52pcs on letters numbers and arrows and heavy tactile 36pcs on all surrounding keys. Its 88 keys as its made for Nordics and it has white on white engraved PBT keycaps.
It has a light feel when writing and a more firm feel on larger keys as they often get hit with more force.
Duckys on display, Assembly special edition model top left. Pic from Assembly:
Ducky year of the Dragon edition (backlit tenkeyless with memory on board) was on display as well.

Are these key caps engraved for some pan-nordic combo layout or for true "Finnish/Swedish?" layout?
Great to see a tenkeyless keyboard in ISO layout with some tactile switches for a change.

Sure is. Currently we have 105 key ISO (111 caps actually in package) PBT sets: black on black engraved and black with laser etched print. We will soon also have 105 key ISO PBT sets: White on white engraved(same caps as on this keyboard) and white with laser etched print.
...and just to turn it up a notch we are working on ISO sets for Ducky(and why not also for some other kb with Cherrys) with dye sublimation

I shall take one of each then. For science and stuff
Edit: Will there be blank PBT ISO keys? (no legends that is, known as otaku)

Well the key layout, key forms and sizes for Nordic and Fin/Swe is exactly the same. Nordic just has few extra markings on 4 keys. Currently the market(or actually consumer awereness) isnt big enough to make to make separate keycap sets for each nordic country. Maybe with some time
Ducky G2PRO tenkeyless main lineup will arrive within august. There will keyboards boxed as follows:
Ducky G2PRO TKL, ABS black laser etched print
Ducky G2PRO TKL, PBT black on black engraved
Ducky G2PRO TKL, PBT white on white engraved
Ducky G2PRO TKL, PBT white laser etched print
Available in MX brown, MX red, MX blue and MX black. We might do also more mixed switch variants or exotic switch types later on when production has time for it and sufficient rare switch qtys are available.

A slight concern, I believe there are more than 4 keys that differ?

Yes the bottom material on the wrist rest is not succesful one unfortunately as material is too hard to hold on smooth slippery surface. I suggest cutting few large pieces of pretty thin soft rubber and attaching them on bottom. Can use an old Steelseries Qck mousemat(which is only 3mm) or similar thats about to go to the bin if you have something like that lying around.

Yes, on Ducky sets its actually 5 keys that have extra markings. Didnt take notice of the additional | -marking on the ยง -key.
All the rest on Ducky sets are same as on Fin/Swe.

Decided to skip black PBT laser etched print on G2PRO boxed keyboards. 4 keycap variants multiplied by 4 switch types already pile up to a very high number of variations. As white keycaps are new for us we decided to add white PBT with laser etched print. Black PBT with laser etched print we have already made with fullsize G2PRO and is sold separately as a keycap set.

I forgot to congratulate you on your new store btw, great news. Any idea on when it might open?
Last question before I resume wearing down my F5-key at your site: Do you have any pics of the different kinds, and perhaps the thickness of them?

Tho you wont find tenkeyless G2PRO yet as the Assembly special edition were 1st units made for Nordics (actually 1st units to anywhere). Tenkeyless models with ABS and 3 different PBT variants will arrive within this month.

When will the stores begin to sell them? One of the stores carried one kind of PBT, the others had none. I will keep an eye out for them.

To my knowledge this is the first PBT ISO set.
Can you do UK PBT engraved?

Actually MaxFPS has 2 Ducky ISO PBT sets currently available. Black engraved and black with laser etched print. White ones will take about a month to have available as separate sets as keyboards themselves coming out now are priority.

Hiya,
We have already done the black ones. Heres pics from a full ISO PBT set Ducky Black on black enraved:
White ones will take about a month to have as separately sold sets as i mentioned earlier. We might do also with UK markings but at current we do not sell anything in the UK. What we definately can do is blank PBT sets, in black and in white...and maybe even some funky colorcombo

That's great, just need Sleebo to engrave and fill sets of these then
