Dell AT101 (salmon alps) & SGI Granite

Picked up a second SGI granite board (dampened white alps) and a rare-ish old logo Dell AT101 (salmon alps). Rip-o-metered the salmon alps board and I'm getting 65-70g on the board, the exception being the arrow key cluster (which registers uniformly at 75g).
The SGI Granite after a 4 hour retrobrite treatment in the South Florida sun. The difference...OMG
All those fancy retrobrite recipes are bs. The only 2 things I used were sunshine and 40 vol creme developer from Sally's Beauty Supply. There's no need for glycerin or xanthan gum.

nice results
AKIMbO, have you ever have mottled result from retrobrite? I gather that you completlely submerged the whole caps and casing as opposed to reapply the peroxide every ten minutes...?
I got mottled plastics from 40% peroxide after only a day recently (granted, it's tropical sunshine and the ambient temperature is like 35 C on average

Yes, the space bar on the SGI has a tiny bit of blooming. The case however is perfect. When I do caps I usually use 30 vol hydrogen peroxide...this was my first time with 40 vol creme. I have to say, the creme works a ton faster than the liquid.

Noted...I just added two pictures of the Dell.

Yup. Turned out great right. $12 got me enough to do several keyboards.

um, can you please post the pics of the peroxide 'creme' you used? I gather it'd be more practical than submerging the whole case as I did, so if possible, I'd like to duplicate the procedure.

You have used the cream also for keycaps?
You have painted them one by one?

Sure, here's a
link to the creme I used.

I used creme for the spacebar. I have used liquid for keycaps in the past. The creme works quicker.
