Hi there,

I thought I'd post some pictures of my keyboards in order to show some keyboards/keycaps combinations that you could enjoy or even maybe get some inspiration of. It is my most expensive hobby for over 2 years now and I can't stop loving it. And this is my problem:

#1 Raptor K1 w/ Skidata Orange on Charcoal Doubleshots (keycaps from mintberryminuscrunch)
Image

#2 HHKB2 w/ 10th Anniversary keycaps (inspired by martinyeah, keycaps from pasph, CC from elitekeyboards poll (gone right now))
Image

#3 KBC Poker w/ Blanks and RGB Doubleshots | MX Black (Poker from tinlongs GB)
Image

#4 Topre Realforce 55g uniform
Image

#5 IBM SSK w/ industrial case and RGB modifiers and ISO layout (from Ascaii)
Image

#6 Noppoo Choc Mini w/ Cherry Black on Beige Doubleshots | MX Brown(Noppoo from snoopy)
Image

#6a Noppoo from #6 w/ Dolch DS (dolch from Akimbo THX)
Image

#6b Noppoo Choc Mini w/ Skidata DS | MX Black (Noppoo from computerbase-member)
Image

#7 CM QFR w/ Cherry Black on Beige Doubleshots | MX Blue(qfr from maeda, keycaps from inlikeflynn)
Image

#8 IBM SK-8845, not mechanical but still a joy to type on (from ebay, this was a hard one to get it to work under Win8, but this solved the driver issue: http://www.johnvey.com/blog/2012/12/ibm ... -windows-8)
Image

#9 Topre Realforce 55g uniform
Image

#10 Cherry G80-5000 HAADE w/ MKC RGB (ebay, kaiserreich)
Image

#11 Unicomp Endurapro w/ RGB and Red ESC and Geek Hack key
Image

#12 KBC Poker w/ custom painted white housing | MX Blue
Image

#13 Goldtouch Numpad | MX Brown
Image

#14 KBC Poker ying and yang
Image

#15 Compaq MX 11800 w/ RGB and Cherry dye sublimation keycaps, notice the 2units right shift : (
The low profile F-keys are from a Cherry G80-2100

Thanks for looking and at this point I wanted to thank very much all members who helped me getting these <3
I will display them soon at my new home.

This will grow eventually (for sure)...

Still wanted: White Noppoo w/ MX Blues

Still need a shelf for them and a better camera for pictures...

What's wrong with the Raptor? Maybe I can help :)

Unfortunately Raptor's designers/engineers thought it would be cool to modify the PCB-mounted switches so that you cant just easily swap the stemps and springs. Every switch has got a plastic frame around it. I didn't see it when I wanted to open up a switch and pulled/cracked it out of the PCB. Not good.

You should swap Esc with the relegendable!

They are from his 10th Anniv. Topre. He was so kind to give them to me.

Really nice collection you have.

Too bad the G80-1800 isn't winkeyless because you would have all keys with Skidata.

Yeah, it is not that easy to find one : /

I recently saw one, but passed on it because it went too high for me.
Went for 30 something on ebay.de.
Just be patient ;)

Wow, my old noppoo. I had nearly the same keycaps on it. Where did you get that '#-key from?

It's from a Tipro.

I didn't see it when I wanted to open up a switch and pulled/cracked it out of the PCB
Same here :D
But I destroyed two switches until I get it

btt: I think, you presented your collection somewhere else a while ago, it seems to me that it is a bit smaller now.
New device, less quantity more qualitiy? But I really do like it now (especially the HHKB and thinkpad-keyboard) :)

One thing left: Which colour do the cherry switches have?

Yes you are right, I showed some keyboards a while back on computerbase. But that was more in the beginning of the journey where I didn't even realize that I was going to collect them. I shouldn't have traded that model F... : (

Now I got rid of the Filco stuff and others and am looking forward only to get the boards I am really interested in. Quality > quantity.

There is a milestone on a keyboard journey where you have to decide whether you are a collector or not.

I will add the switches.

I just wanted to appreciate the Olivetti ANK 27 102 N:
Image

This is the best rubberdome keyboard I have typed on so far . I love
+ its italian origin
+ its font
+ its two-colored case
+ its weight (steelplate)
+ its feel (feels a little bit like 55g topre)
+ its interesting sculpted keycaps. Take a look on the right pic, the alpha block is sculpted and the rest of the caps (Numpad etc.) is just not.

One downside though:
- 2KRO to 4KRO

Does anybody know if the font is printed ?

I am pretty sure that the legends on the ANK 27 are dye-sub, just like the ANK 25. The keycap shape and profile looks to be the same between the two series, so I think it's a fair bet that the printing method is also the same.

The 25 and 27 series Olivetti boards are my favourite. In my opinion they are much nicer than their more complicated predecessor and also better looking than their successors based on NMB rubber dome boards (e.g. ANK 61). I've never tried how the NMB based Olivetti boards feel though.

I like my ANK 25 so much that I recently picked up a spare with webwit's help :)

Your ANK 25 looks abolutely awesome! That blue font! That case! That box =)

I have already speculated whether the keycaps are dye sublimated. Thanks for clarification!

Now I love it even more ^^ (with a side look at your ANK 25)
