So I finally got the package ive been waiting for...sitting in the hallway reading, waiting for the doorbell to ring.

Thanks a lot to 42.tar.gz for selling me this beauty and taking the time to mod the entire board to blues for me.

As for the keys...theyre a mixed bunch and im still hoping to replace the backspace with a grey key, possibly the shifts as well.

Alphanumericals and arrows off of a WYSE 840362-01 (doubleshots), tab+caps lock off of a Preh Commander battleship with MY keys, function keys from the original UK ISO set of doubleshots that came with the board (doubleshot win key). The F-keys, as well as cancel, hot swap, and spec. key are from an Access AKEOCTI299 board. The 2 piece relegendable caps and the spherical numpad keys are from a Jarltech tj-8011 programmable keyboard. Sadly I wasnt able to make the numpad enter and plus from the WYSE fit properly, so those keys are from the original set as well. Oh and yes that horribly dark key in the corner is a geekhack key (deskthority key anyone?).

I will be mapping the relegendables to media/program control keys for winamp + autocad. the three keys next to the numpad will be designated cut, copy, and paste buttons, since I will have to write my bachelors thesis at some point and that way I only need one hand to steal ideas (I am lazy ;) ).

contructive criticism and flaming are appreciated, I am very happy right now.

Not the exact same, but close. If you want a set let me know and I'll send one your way. Its the least I can do until I find you a proper cable :(

I don't have many sets left anymore. Do you have a business registered or know someone who does? I can give you the source to order them yourself. They are around 16 Euro per set, but you need to have a business to be able to order.

7bit recommended a Tipro board to me: http://cgi.ebay.de/TIPRO-Kassentastatur ... 255e44ab5b

supposedly uses blacks, which you could mod to blues. Care reader detaches with 2 screws on it.
