Indeed it would. Nice find, Seebart!
I think the Germans ought to choose a guy to be the only DT bidder on these, and to run a GB. That would be highly optimal for shipping's sake, both steps along the way.
What we want to avoid is multiple bidders, of course. There's plenty of Nixdorfs to go round!

If you are ok with me doing this of course. If someone else wants to run it that's fine

@seebart
I didn't notice you have deactivated the PM function until after I had written a lengthy answer to the PM you sent me
Care to reactivate it (even for a short time) or send me your mail address so I can send you my answer?

so you guys where right. It was a g81 1157 HAD. The keycaps are ds and look brand new and the tab key pen writing is gone too. Caps taking a bath right now . But I am really pissy. Thought I get those nice black ds keycaps for cheap and was the only bedding till a minute before end.

idiot even wrote cerry instead of cherry so I thought only some die hard michael schumacher fan would find out and bid on it. Want to know who of you guys actually got it and congrats on those nice white on black ds.

Sorry ... it's mine. These keybo fan keyboards never went for under 19 € lately if I didn't miss it, and seeing what Ivan asks for new GMK sets in ANSI, they're definitely worth it if you're looking for German layout.
Now I'm hoping that tinnie's moggle buy will resurrect some time...

well congrats I guess . Really hoped that I´ll get them to make a nice mix of black ds modifiers and white ds alpha numerics. Hope I get a shot on those g81 fan boards again as it seems the only legit and good priced way to get white on black double shots for my g80 3000´s.

Keep in mind that you can't use the bottom row modifiers of a G81 on a G80 or compatible board because their stems are off-center. You need a moogle kit.madmatt wrote:... to make a nice mix of black ds modifiers and white ds alpha numerics...

but that only accounts for the strg, alt, menu and windows keys or am I wrong? Will get a nice rgby set for those keys anyway. And they aren´t double shots anyway, on the schumacher keyboard that is, so I have a full lasered keyset from a black g80 3000 that could be used for just those first row modifiers.

Those racing, football team, etc... boards are the only easy way to get white/black DE sets. But if you didn't care about the DE alphas you can get US white/black sets easily enough for inexpensive though US ebay. We also often get the models (G80-8113/8200) with the fulltouch caps locks and 1.25 keys you can actually use. Though you will likely want someone in US to help to receive it and strip the keycap only for reshipment.

That's true. DE alphas are what this is about. I have given up hope for DE alphas from GMK group buys, with GMK being as it is, but at the moment it's still possible to get nice Cherry or Skidata DE vintage sets that are nicely combinable with GMK group buy stuff.
